#8 I'm unable to figure out the compensation system here. PressTV has an annual budget of 250 billion rials (about $12 million dollars at today's street price). They have several regular correspondents (Gordon Duff who is the main source for this article and has admitted proudly that he makes up stuff, is one of them).
Probably there is enough money so that every now and then they pay somebody big bucks and inspire a lot of wannabees.
