#5 Tha Basij were placed under the direct authority of the IRGC around four years ago. Command and conrol are probably centered within the IRGC and the locations of the three major Basij brigades.

That will be a bit tough.
Figure the heavy-weapons and Special Basij units will be operating out the major IRGC bases, perhaps out of a few of their own. These are usually located outside the urban areas.
Most of the regular Basij (those who draw a regular salary) in the streets now are usually aligned with, and operate out of, a mosque. There are also 'casuals', who also will report to a mosque, but only work when they are called in.
In this instance, I believe they are using professional units from just outside Tehran, under close supervision.
