#1 Head of Islamic studies at the Umm Al-Qura University Muhammad Al-Sahli said it was a matter of deep pain for all Muslims, especially students and teachers of religious knowledge and preachers, that a mosque had been used as a cover for destructive activities.

#2 Maybe it's like that kosher meat vs dairy thing - it's bad to manufacture explosives in a mosque but storing them there is ok.
