#1 So there are only two options? Only two? Amazing. Might need to rethink that one.

#2  Is there a sane Israeli out there who thinks an American president would forego a second term in office, or at least threaten his prospects gravely, in order to safeguard the Jewish state?

One additional question:

Is there a sane Israeli out there who does not think Obama would act differently about an Israeli strike against Iran after the upcoming US national election?

#3 Sane Israelis are invited to call their friends and relatives in the US and tell them to quit voting dem.

#4 There is no such thing as a sane Israeli.
Nobody can be remotely called sane when they face a possibility of nuclear weapons in the hands of a fanatic mullah dominated religious theocracy ! moreover a theocracy who declares publicly and on numerous occations that thay would destroy us.
I don't want to be sane in a situation like this.
I just insanely hope our leaders sanely decide to attack with full force and all available weapons, irrespective of what Hussein Obama says or does.

#6 I would not / do not trust the word of Obama vis a vis Israel on anything at all.

Deep down, or not so deep, I think he would be pleased if Israel was wiped off the map. Any statements to the contrary can be taken as politicing/fund raising.

Would he actively aid in the destruction of Israel? Probably not.
Would he be upset that it occurred? Probably not.

#8 I can't help but wonder whether, given the seeming inevitibility of some sort of near term action against the Iranian nuclear program, Israel might not attempt a twofer. Strike ahead of the US election thereby spiking the oil market and encouraging a little regime change in the US as well.

#9 As Barbara said, get in line.

Obama doesn't like Israel? That doesn't make you special. He doesn't much like America either.
