#2 In retrospect, imagine how very different, and unimportant, this story would have been if in a local Italian paper, there was a brief obituary for Abu Omar, who had died after slipping on a puddle of water and falling off a five story balcony. Three times.

Had accidents suddenly become the leading cause of death for radical Imams around the world, at the very start of the WoT, by now Muslim pulpits around the world would be quite tame. While clerics are enthusiastic about sending others to painful death, they personally don't want to experience it.

So next time, CIA, do it right. And if your wishy-washy civilian leaders don't understand, then go black and do it without them.
