#2 Al-Qaida is planning Christmas attacks in the U.S. and Europe. The U.S. government sprang into action and told al-Qaeda, Hey, you cannot call them Christmas attacks, you have to call them holiday attacks.

#4 I gather that Scotland used to have a large prison hewn from live rock. It had running water before it was fashionable, percolating through the rock, and for sewers, a deep, if narrow hole, that went down.

Prisoners were served a ration of a bowl of oatmeal a day. It could get somewhat chilly in winter.

Pity that they no longer have such accommodations.

#7 Anonymoose, we have some deep underground mines in Canada which are no longer is use. They would make excellent long-term accomidations for terrorists. No need for many prison guards. Just keep a few above ground to control the elevator. When the prison population gets too big, send down a few alligators.
