 File under: al-Qaeda in Pakistan

#1 The US military may have a good alternative available. While a C-130 can carry about 5,000 gallons of fuel, they likely already have cargo airships that can carry 200 tons, or about 70,000 gallons.

200 tons is about "medium carry", and they are trying to get their hands on 500 to 1,000 tons super heavy cargo airships, but they have 200 ton carry airships right now.

I'd guess the only thing they need is to quickly fab a cellular transport container, to limit fluid shift.

#2 What are we using our fleet of C-5 cargo planes for?

Probably flying bundles of $100 bills into Pakistan for our "allies".
