#2 If you stay off of flights originating from Amsterdam, Heathrow and heading for Detroit and other great places like that, you have a fighting chance of crossing the Pond and writing it in yer memoirs.

#3 I'm glad my traveling was done in the past, when security wasn't quite so tight. I did cause a major incident once, however. We were going to England, and Jean and I packed a can of latex rubber compound in our carry-on, because it would have leaked in the unpressurized cargo compartment. Luckily, we had one of the molds we'd created using the compound with us as well. For a while there, though, we were in a private room as our luggage was TOTALLY checked. What got us out of trouble was one of the Customs people knew what the compound was. In fact, he asked us how HE could get some - his wife used it to make ceramic bisque molds if intricately carved picture frames, church pews, and such. Apparently she was a very highly recognized restorer. Otherwise, it might have taken us several days to get out of Heathrow.
