#1 The Taliban should be happy I am not POTUS. I would declare the hours between sunset and sunrise to be a free fire zone along the rat lines. I would burn every poppy field in Afghanistan and pay the farmers twice the paltry sum they get from the drug smugglers. I would execute anyone caught with bomb making material.

#3 Anymouse, you're a piker. I'd have already nuked half of Pakistan, used napalm so freely the only trees growing would be ones my troops had planted, and used ARCLIGHT strikes daily as a "hearts and minds" winner - I.E., "you're either with us, or you're dead". I'm outraged that a group of really GREAT guys are dying because an idiot or two isn't willing to go Mongol on a bunch of 10th-century holdouts.
