#1 Obama's support might be explained by this Wiki entry:

General opinions about his presidency are very divided by political, ideological and party lines. The traditional left praise him for his economic policies and social reforms which on occasion have put him at odds with the economic powers which traditionally have ruled in Honduras. The more conservative part of the population have expressed their opposition to both his foreign policy, particularly his alliance with Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, and his adhering Honduras to the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas as well as for his periodic attacks on the United States, and periodic confrontations with the business sector.

#3 Sounds like someone in Honduras didn't want their elected "Community Organizer" to flout their existing Constitution with the help of "Mr." Chavez.

#5 He had insisted on holding the vote even though the Supreme Court ruled it illegal and everyone from the military to Congress and members of his own party opposed it.

The rule of law over the rule of men. That little oath about "I do solemnly swear to uphold and defend the Constitution..." make you uneasy? Is the One afraid of foreshadowing?
