#1 An interesting solution might be found with some electronic hanky-panky. For example, imagine a missile fired from a Pakistani helicopter that suddenly "goes off course", yet hits a target the pilot wasn't aware of.

This actually simplifies things. For example, the pilot is told to fly on a particular course. Then he is told to fire a missile to the North. And like by magic, the missile seems to know where to go.

And the pilot doesn't complain, because he gets the credit for the hit.

But it being fired from a Pakistani army helicopter solves any injury to Pakistani sensibilities. It's not like it was fired by the Americans.
