It's beginning to look like it, USN, Ret.. For all his shortcomings, at least McCain is openly voicing the need for Iran's destruction. The American electorate has been given little or no information by which it can understand the magnitude of threat that Iranian hegemony in the Middle East would represent. Neither the media nor even more disturbingly, the White House are informing the general public about this.

Let me put it this way, if a single American city must take a nuclear hit, our politicians have literally begged for it to be Washinton DC. Were it not for the loss of so much national heritage, I'd be cheering such an idea. What better way to simultaneously galvanize America and berid ourselves of one of the most worthless collection of self-serving political tools in our entire history.

I still hold trust in our military to ensure that proper reprisal would happen. From our politicians, I expect nothing.
