#4 Prop 87 is not going to win. Hard to convince voters that an increase of taxes will not show up at the pump. Both Gore and Clinton have ads in favor of Prop 87, can't tell which is more comical.

#6 A $10 a gallon tax on motor fuels in CA will really work wonders on decreasing the state's use of such evil substances, not to mention cutting its unrealistic real estate values. People would leave the state so fast, the earth's crust there would rebound.
