#1 I think this deserves a popcorn image.

#3 Indonesia has sent over 200 fishing vessels into Australian waters this year, all with state-of-the art GPS systems.

Some even landed on our territory and dug wells.

Up to 50 a day are being spotted, there are regular reports in the Northern Territory News (not online so haven't posted articles).

This is outrageous behaviour.

#4 Well, now you have a precedent for handling them. Indonesians couldn't squawk but so loud.

#5 So it is OK for Indonesia to poach Australia's fishing grounds, but when it's their turf they fire.

We are spending $20 million taxpayer funds in building a detention centre for their fisherman, non refundable.

We are providing that country with bird flu drugs for free: why? They can afford to buy it themselves with money from the rich military.

Australia should start applying tougher rules to the Indonesians.

#7 Anyway to get Howard to seize the boats and sell them off? With the proper attitude, border enforcement can become a profit center.

#8 This is a good thing. More nations need to do it. It not just Chinese ships poaching.
