#1 Just as avoiding Fallujah encouraged anti-Iraqi elements to migrate there, where the Americans, Brits and Iraqis could destroy them, so too avoiding the mosques until now has encouraged the anti-Iraqis to gather themselves and their weaponry in these illusory sanctuaries. Someone is a good deal smarter than he looks. Well done, indeed!

#2 The raids on mosques were only curtailed because of the furor that the MSM could bring to bear on coalition forces if raids were carried out. Now the mosques as bases for terrorism operations have been exposed, as Iraqi and coalition forces have exposed them for what they are. The war will not be over instantly one day, but raids like we have been seeing in Fallujah and other parts of Iraq have denied a major base of operations for the terrorists. Serious steps of attrition. I hope we can keep up the momentum. This is definitely good news.

Exposed only by passing mention, to be sure.

#5 Glad to be back .

Should just blow them up where they find them . One less place to hide crap like that . Then build a proper parking lot with MacDonalds at the top . Ronnie MacD can call to prayer any time he likes then :)

#6 I like the "blow them up where they find them" idea!

Then of course we'd get swell NY Times headlines like: "American troops mis-handle sacred explosives thereby defiling sacred mosque"
