#3 Former French president Valery Giscard dâEstaing, who oversaw the power grab drafting of a European Union constitution, warned on Friday against attempts to redraw the charter, saying it would be better to have no deal than a bad one.

Calling potential changes to the current charter bad without any specifics on what the changes would be and why they would really be "bad" sounds suspiciously like he simply wants things done his way.
