#3 Convenient for the filers that their names can't be released, but the Belgians will release the names of the defendants. That way, they filers get the press they want, and the filees get teh shaft.

#4 Under the English court system, the loser pays the other sides attorneys' fees, as a general matter. However, given this is in the criminal context it is probably n/a.

#5 Apparently Belgium has too many lawyers and bureaucrats too. Nice touch, though, probably sending Saddam's complaint back to Iraq.
