#4 ..I have NEVER written one of my politicians before, but I may in this case. I think either Graham has an electoral death wish, or he is just THAT far out of touch with his constituents.

#6 You can be a bit more proactive than that. Look at his contributors and spend / don't spend accordingly. And let them know it, too.

#7 Take this from someone whom, at one time, prepared draft responses for the offices of congressional military liaisons, to constituents.

If writing a letter to a congressman or senator makes you feel better, I recommend you do it. If you are looking for meaningful results beyond the 'feel good', I recommend you look elsewhere.

#8 In the sixties, I got several thoughtful answers from Congressmen about transportation issues. They were probably as banal as the computer-generated 'responses' of the 21st century, but I appreciated them.
