#1 Marching in the streets. Sure way to get killed when dealing with totalitarian gov't with delusions of divine approval. Best to start sneaking in alleys and starting to pick off the muscle and brains.

#3 ...The Army - the rank and file, anyways - may well side with the people. The problem here will be the Revolutionary Guard and the Basij. The RG is official, the Basij is paramilitary; and maybe best compared with Hitler's SA. They will be turned loose, no question of that - what needs to happen, HAS to happen is that the protesters should make it exceptionally clear that any Basij who goes after a crowd should not expect to go home in one piece...or go home at all. They are bullies in the most classic sense, and they will behave like bullies when faced with people who refuse to bow to them.

Good article on this from about a year ago, but still accurate.

#4 not sure what the best tactics will be but the best people to find out are the Iranians themselves

burning IRG owned assets (perhaps that's why the bank was targeted) seems a smart idea

egging the homes of mosque prayer leaders who side with the regime seems a smart idea also

sabotaging the catering trucks on their way to deliver banquets to the mullacracy may be another

probably some of these work in some cities, others in other cities
