Donald Trump was a strong supporter of the UK's exit from the EU. Not a popular position for our deep state cousins. If one examines the comments of our own intelligence community nattering nabobs, it becomes a bit clearer. They all appear to be rowing in the same boat. I suspect the dossier was a collaborative effort.

Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for president, has come out in support of Brexit, saying the UK would be “better off” outside of the European Union and lamenting the consequences of migration in the continent.
