#7 Hey! Don't get me started on white dwarfs, brown dwarfs, red giants, yellow giants, etc.
I noted a shift in the quality of writing in the SA back in the 80s and haven't bought any issues since then. Except for the collection of "Amateur Scientist" on CD.
