#1 fwiw, March and September are the best months for viewing the Northern lights because the axis of the earth's magnetic field is perpendicular to the movement of the sun's mass ejections

#2 Somewhere I heard that video never captures the true color of northern lights. I've never seen northern lights myself but after looking at that video I'm disappointed. The only color I see is a washed out green. Otherwise it's monotone.

#3 they are usually blueish and greenish but Ive seen pink rings before, video doesnt do them justice
