#2 Update: Fox reports on a Texas Department of Public Safety bulletin on the threat.

“A review of ISIS social media messaging during the week ending August 26 shows that militants are expressing an increased interest in the notion that they could clandestinely infiltrate the southwest border of US, for terror attack,” warns the Texas Department of Public Safety “situational awareness” bulletin, obtained by FoxNews.com.

#7 There was a story over at Drudge. The opening paragraphs were as follows:

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia has warned that the West will be the next target of the jihadists sweeping through Syria and Iraq, unless there is "rapid" action.

"If we ignore them, I am sure they will reach Europe in a month and America in another month," he said in remarks quoted on Saturday by Asharq al-Awsat daily and Saudi-backed Al-Arabiya television station.

Nothing is as seen with these guys. They are very duplicitous. Scare tactics at work? The King is probably afraid, ISIS will turn their collective sights on SA and upset the royal's cozy arrangement there. He is trying to get Europe and the U.S. to clean up the ISIS mess for him. If a few thousand Karfirs get killed in the process, it no skin off his arse. The House of Saud doesn't like to get their hands dirty.

#8 Maybe I'm paranoid but it occurred to me that little to nothing is being done by our current ruling politicians about controlling our southern border. The cartels have a tremendous amount of money. I thought what if a lot of cartel/Mideastern money finds its way into the pockets and coffers of our politicians in some money laundering arrangement. Maybe this is just my paranoid musings.

This seems to contradict the idea that the "Feds" warned of this. The FBI not even mentioning Muslims as a threat seems right in line with this administration's leanings.
