#5 Israel should cut off electricity supplies in and to Gaza until the IDF soldier is returned. After a month or so the resulting stink should influence the Gaza populace to revolt against Hamas influence -- something that is to be hoped for.

As I recall, Omomock Speaking for Boskone4589, the connection to Israel was cut off by one of the 20% of Gaza rockets that never leave the Strip a week ago, and the main Gazan power generator went up in flames in the last few days -- probably also a Gazan rocket that missed Israel completely, it seems to me. They're down to private generators whose owners can get fuel for them, and averaging 2 hours of power a day, per the UN.

#11 F18 maint cycle is pretty good Skid; Hardest thing on them will be the airborne dust getting into the moving bits; so that will call for a bit of extra washing and lubing, but other than that, they are actually pretty reliable birds.

#12 Skid, I think you really meant to ask about the F-15 Eagle and or F-16 Falcon; both of those are very good also and the Israelis know how to get the best out of them.
