Every episode will require specialized troops to observe, report, inspect and enter said building, which probably has intrusion prevention devices.

#6 Skidmark is right. Hamas can throw away hundreds and still have fodder for the fight. The IDF cannot afford those kind of casualties. They have to work smarter, and as rapidly as they can to complete the mission. Attrition is not your friend in this case.
