#1 ...So half the force just got put out of service. Lovely, though that's one of those things one can't foresee. Get 'em back, quickly - it won't take much to leave us without any, and that's just when the Gods decide to start playing with us.

#2 That's the beauty of the plan. All the E4's, Looking Glass, and the AWACS E3's (and most of the tanker assets) are based at either Offutt or Tinker (Oklahoma City). Prime tornado zone real estate.
