#2 Turkey is still letting the FSA do most of the fighting and dying. I don't think the FSA have the depth to do that long term.

#3 The FSA is a feudal coalition of mercenaries and local militias captained by strongmen. So casualties will render them "combat ineffective" very quickly on the attack. The question is if the Turks can keep them attacking if the Syrians bring in artillery/anti-air assets to support the Kurds.
