#3 A Republican POTUS and Republican Congress would be EXPECTED to work together and accomplish something. I am not at all certain they are up to the 'expectation.' I am likewise as uncertain as to exactly how much they differ in their basic beliefs about big government. With a few notable exceptions, the pubs appear to enjoy far too much, their role as yapping porch dogs.

#4 I was in Alaska when Jimmy Carter put the entire known mineral provinces of Alaska into what is called D-2 National Parks and National Preserves. This shut down about 400 mines. The D-2 classification is land that is held in parks and preserves but at some time in the future can be mined. Basically all the known mineral deposits Alaskan were taken and held by the federal government so at some time in the future (once a dictator is installed) the elitists can own and mine them. This latest resource seizure is nothing more than Obama putting a vast oil reserve in trust that will be the property of an elitist at some time in the future. The logging industry has had similar seizures based upon the spotted owl, etc.
