#2 The slow lie. Wait long enough before admitting stuff and even the most damning evidence can be said to be old news. In this case because of her health issues and all it seems unseemly for the GOP to attack her and Obama is clear because the risk of unfounded racism charges still terrifies the GOP.
Move along, nothing to see here. History will straighten it out but justice and honor lost this battle early on.
