#1 I'm sure there must have been other issues with Mr. Strickland to get him 10MW-ed. There many, many people that have done worse, longer, to more.

Strickland was added to the FBI's most-wanted list last month
Two weeks ago?
I wonder if maybe he didn't make the list immediately after they found him.

#2 When he fled after the shooting he abandoned his toddler at the party; one of the two men he murdered had only been married a few months.

The only things I can think of are

1) gangs were involved -- but then wouldn't the article have said?

2) someone there that night was connected enough to move what sounds like manslaughter up to FBI attention

3) one of those killed was in a federal protection program -- though that sounds like the plot of a bad television show.

But this is not the kind of thing I'm good at. No doubt some of our law enforcement people have a better idea why the FBI cares.
