But after being assured it was not, they put out the welcome mat for Sanders, who drew a crowd of more than 6,000 people to the Cloverdale Airport on a sweltering June 3, days before the California primary election.
Cloverdale officials said they were assured by Sanders’ campaign advance team that local public safety agencies would be reimbursed for expenses associated with the rally.

In a surprising call for a foreign power to use its hacking abilities to get involved in the U.S. presidential election, Donald Trump on Wednesday called on Russia to find Hillary Clinton's missing emails from the time she was secretary of state.
"Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing," Trump said to a room of TV cameras at Trump National Doral. "I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press."
Trump also deflected accusations from the Clinton campaign that Russia hacked into the Democratic National Committee emails, which were made public on Friday, to help the Republican nominee.
"It's just a total deflection this whole thing with Russia.... By the way they hacked, they probably have her 33,000 e-mails. I hope they do. They probably have her 33,000 e-mails that she lost and deleted because you'd see some beauties there. So let's see."
The Clinton campaign was quick to respond. Said advisor Jake Sullivan: "This has to be the first time that a major presidential candidate has actively encouraged a foreign power to conduct espionage against his political opponent. That's not hyperbole, those are just the facts. This has gone from being a matter of curiosity, and a matter of politics, to being a national security issue." So Shrillary "suddenly" sees how this could be a national security issue, and she'll have her followers believe it's somehow it's Trump's fault because his words magically give Russia permission to do what any nation worth its salt would normally do. Including ours. Seems to me that some of her most blindly loyal followers aren't going to like what they hear.
Referring to questions about whether he could have been the hacker, Trump said: "It's so far-fetched. It's so ridiculous. Honestly I wish I had that power. I'd love to have that power."
Vice presidential candidate Mike Pence issued a statement Wednesday morning saying that the FBI will get to the bottom of who is behind the hacking. Will their answer depend on who's in charge when the report comes out?
"If it is Russia and they are interfering in our elections, I can assure you both parties and the United States government will ensure there are serious consequences," he said. "That said, the Democrats singularly focusing on who might be behind it and not addressing the basic fact that they've been exposed as a party who not only rigs the government, but rigs elections while literally accepting cash for federal appointments is outrageous. The American people now have absolute and further proof of the corruption that exists around Hillary Clinton. It should disqualify her from office, if the media did their job." That's a mighty big "if" there . . . .
Trump faced several questions about whether he has ties to Russia --which he denied --and his relationship with Vladimir Putin.
"I never met Putin," he said. "I don't know who Putin is. He said one nice thing to me. He said I was a genius. I said. "Thank you very much." I wonder if he ever called Shrillary a genius.
Trump bashed President Barack Obama as "the most ignorant president in our history" and accused the press of siding with Clinton. Sorry, I pared down the article to what was relevant to the title, but I couldn't resist this morsel.
When a female reporter asked Trump whether he was encouraging Russia to hack into emails, Trump snapped back: "Be quiet. I know you want to save her," a reference to Clinton. Nor this one, either. ;-)

John Hinckley Jr. will be released from a federal mental hospital 35 years after he attempted to assassinate former President Ronald Reagan.
A federal judge in Washington, D.C. determined Wednesday that Hinckley, 61, is no longer a threat to himself or others. He will be released to live full-time with his mother in Williamsburg, Va., as early as next week.
The court order prohibits Hinckley from contacting his victims, their relatives, and actress Jodie Foster, who he had developed an obsession with. Hinckley will be bound to a 50-mile radius from Williamsburg and is barred from "knowingly" traveling to locations where there are current presidents or member of Congress. How about former presidents?
Hinckley will also be barred from accessing social media, consuming alcohol, and possessing a firearm. Weed's OK.
The judge said Hinckley may be allowed to live on his own after a year, removing the attempted assassin from court control for the first time since the 1981 shooting.
On March 30, 1981, Hinckley fired six shots at then-President Reagan outside the Washington Hilton Hotel in an assassination attempt intended to impress Foster. Turns out she's homosexual. I'll bet that was a disappointment.
Reagan was immediately rushed to the hospital and spent nearly two weeks recovering from gun wounds and severe blood loss. His press secretary James Brady was shot in the head and left paralyzed.
Nearly a year after the attack, a federal jury in Washington found Hinckley not guilty by reason of insanity.
Reagan's daughter, Patti Davis, told NPR last year that the court's not guilty decision was a "bad verdict."
"You can't say well if he shot the butcher it would be different," Davis said. "He did try to shoot a president. We hold that crime in a different category than we do other attempted murders." Create yet another law raising the political class above the peons?

A passionate and moving speech that will go a long way to building bridges with the law enforcement community. TOTALLY NOT! After doubling down like that, I'm guessing she has her sights on a bigger political prize than a Baltimore city position, something state maybe?
I understand why she brought those lame-ass charges. They needed to keep the citizens from burning the city down. It also bought them time buy off some of the 'community organizers', like the BLM guy who got a $165,000 city job.

Rep. Jim Renacci is entirely correct. Corporations DO NOT pay income taxes, they pass income taxes and costs associated with gov't regulations, along to the consumer, just like all the other costs associated with business.
If the costs exceed the amount the consumer is willing to pay, the corporation seeks reductions in other costs such as labor, by moving operations overseas.
If the corporation cannot reduce costs, they go bankrupt.
When any of these things happen, the American worker, and taxpayer loses. I have never been able to figure out why this is such a difficult concept to understand.

Along with the graft angle, this allows taxes to be hidden from the true tax-payer. Sales tax is at least visible but if you hide it as a cost of doing business it is much easier to continue with your theft without your plebs getting wise.

And, believe me, there are emails about that, and those emails are gonna drop. And Julian Assange at WikiLeaks has pretty much intimated this is gonna happen. But whatever. This isn't over. Nobody knows when the next dump is gonna happen. And nobody knows if there has been any purloining of data from the RNC computer network. Now, Trump does not do email, so there isn't any scoop to get on him.

The FBI is investigating the "hack" but not the voter fraud (suppression/hacking vote machines/vote stealing) in the Dem primaries? Give me a break. I would tend to think this might be an inside job as #3 said--pissed-off Bernie supporters have been yelling about fraud by the Hillary campaign for sometime now. There are several lawsuits regarding these fraud claims.

The request to investigate the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation on charges of "public corruption" was made in a July 15 letter by 64 House Republicans to the IRS, FBI and Federal Trade Commission (FTC). They charged the foundation is "lawless."

The Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation Division conducts criminal investigations regarding alleged violations of the Internal Revenue Code, the Bank Secrecy Act and various money laundering statutes. The findings of these investigations are referred to the Department of Justice for recommended prosecution.

He also thinks that individual state investigations of the Foundation might be more fruitful than having the Feds do it.

[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least 260 Talibs surrendered to the Afghan cops in northern Samangan province of Afghanistan, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Tuesday.
According to a statement by MoI, the holy warriors surrendered following 11 days fo continuous military operations in Dara-e-Suf district.
The statement further added that the majority of the villages in Dara-e-Suf district were cleared of the holy warriors presence during the operations.
The operations are still underway to clear the remaining villages where the Talibs are still operating, MoI said.
According to MoI, at least two commanders of the group were among 260 holy warriors who surrendered to the Afghan cops along with several weapons, ammunition and explosives.
MoI also added that scores of irresonsible gunnies were also tossed in the clink Don't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out! during the operations from Dara-e-suf district.
The anti-government armed hard boy groups have not commented regarding the report so far.

[MB.PH] A Malaysian court sentenced nine Filipinos to life in prison on Tuesday over an armed incursion in 2013 that left scores dead and paralysed a remote corner of Borneo for weeks, a defence lawyer said.
Eight others, including three Malaysians, received prison sentences ranging from 10 to 18 years, said the attorney, N. Sivananthan.
The bloody incursion by some 200 Islamic bully boyz from the southern Philippines was inspired by a self-proclaimed Filipino sultanate’s claims of historical dominion over the Malaysian state of Sabah on Borneo island.
The assault, the most serious security crisis faced by Malaysia in years, led to a siege between the bully boyz and Malaysian armed forces sent to root them out.
At least 70 people were killed, mostly krazed killers, over the six-week ordeal.
Nine of the defendants had faced death for "waging war" against Malaysia’s king, but were spared by the court in the Sabah state capital Kota Kinabalu.
"They could have been sentenced to death but the judge decided on the lower penalty because there was no evidence they pulled the triggers or committed any murders," N. Sivananthan said.
The others had faced various terrorism-related charges.
Earlier, 12 other Filipinos had been acquitted.
Among those sentenced to life was 53-year-old Amir Bahar Hushin Kiram, son of self-styled Sulu sultan Esmail Kiram.
Esmail, who died in 2015, was among a series of claimants to the Islamic sultanate of Sulu, which once controlled parts of the southern Philippines and part of Borneo.

The SAPRAC report added that on March 16, before the release of the audio message," American intelligence declassified 113 hand written messages by Osama bin Laden. These included instructions on how Al-Qaeda should deal with Iran."
The messages also revealed that Bin Laden said Iran is ’the chief pathway for our money, men, communiqué, and hostages".
Bin Laden also urged his men "not to start a front against Iran."
According to SAPRAC, "this confirms the strong and warming ties between Al-Qaeda and the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran."

[ARA News] ALEPPO – A prominent jihadi and head of military operations of the Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria’s eastern Deir ez-Zor province was killed in clashes with Syrian army forces, local sources reported on Tuesday.
ISIS commander of Deir ez-Zor Amer Ghaffal al-Saleh was killed along with 16 other militants in clashes with Syrian regime troops in the vicinity of the Deir ez-Zor military airport.
“Clashes broke out after ISIS fighters launched a mortar attack on the army headquarters in the airport and killed over a dozen Syrian soldiers,” media activist Ahmed Ramadan told ARA News in Deir ez-Zor.
“The army troops were then engaged in clashes with ISIS militants and killed at least 17 from the group, including its military commander in the province Amer Ghaffal al-Saleh,” the source reported.
Al-Saleh was responsible for the ISIS-led military operations against the Syrian army in Deir ez-Zor and its countryside, according to sources close to ISIS who spoke to ARA News on condition of anonymity.
Also, an ISIS Emir [prince] known as Abu Azzam was killed in an attack by the Syrian army in al-Tharda district of Deir ez-Zor province, activists reported on Tuesday.

The head of the Houthi delegation to the consultations Mohamed Abdel Salam claimed that the coming days will be decisive, and hinted that his delegation will take part in a comprehensive discussion to resolve political, security, military and economic issues in order to stop the war, lift the siege and give Yemenis the freedom of movement.
He added that the rebel delegation has informed the UN special envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed that the delegation has agreed to a comprehensive agreement concerning political, military, security, economic and humanitarian issues, and that it does not have a problem with starting to work on the military and security aspects of the agreement. The rebels took this step at a time when the positions of the government delegation adhere to Kuwait 2.

Daharki police said a Hindu man was "caught and handed over" to them by the residents of village Mehrab Samejo for allegedly "desecrating" Holy Koran.
A large number of people in Daharki, Mirpur, Mathelo, Ghotki and adjoining areas of the district erupted into the streets and blocked National Highway for more than six hours while protesting against the alleged desecration of the holy scripture.
Protesters demanded "severe punishment" for the accused. A First-Information Report (FIR) was also registered against the accused under section 295 (B) of the Pakistain Penal Code.
Sensing trouble following a violent protest, the district administration sought help from Pakistain Rangers to control the situation. There have been several incidents of communal disharmony in the Ghotki district over the past few years, police said.
According to the protesters, the accused entered a mosque and "set the holy scripture on fire".
After taking the Hindu man in jug, police moved him to some holy man's guesthouse an undisclosed location for his safety. A police official, who wished not to be named, told Dawn that the police and law enforcement agencies were trying their best calm down the tense situation.
He added that the police has arrested as many as 30 people on charges of disrupting law and order during raids on different towns in the district.
Despite repeated attempts, SSP Ghotki Masood Bangash was not available for comment.

Israeli security guards the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem shot a Paleostinian woman in the leg Tuesday after she charged at them and ignored calls to stop, police said.
A police statement said a Paleostinian woman, roughly 18 years old from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Aqab, approached the checkpoint and walked into the inspection area for cars. She then ran at security guards "who told her to stop multiple times,"
When the woman ignored their warning, the guards shot at her legs, the statement said. The woman was lightly injured and Magen David Adom paramedics treated her at the scene.
A police bomb disposal expert was called in to check the woman’s bag, and found a knife inside.
After the incident, rioting broke out at the site, a key crossing between Jerusalem and Ramallah, the seat of the Paleostinian Authority. Police responded with riot-control munitions.
Defense officials have pointed to a trend among some young Paleostinian women who, often due to personal problems, have in recent months attempted to commit suicide by staging knife attacks against soldiers and police with the expectation that they will be shot.

[REUTERS] Iran on Tuesday said it was not aware of the presence of three al Qaeda operatives who the U.S. Treasury alleged last week to be living in the country.
Last Wednesday the U.S. Treasury said it was blacklisting a Saudi, an Egyptian and an Algerian who it said were members of al Qaeda living in Iran.
Their activities included liaising between the Pak Taliban and al Qaeda, and sending funds to al Qaeda gunnies in Syria, the Treasury said.
"The Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran has no information about the presence of these people on its own soil," foreign ministry front man Bahram Qassemi was cited as saying by the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA).
Iran has held several al Qaeda members, both high-ranking and lower-level, since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington, although U.S. officials say the precise conditions of their confinement are unclear.
Iran, a Shi'ite Moslem theocracy, considers al Qaeda a terrorist group and Iranian security forces periodically report the arrest of al Qaeda members.
Senior U.S. officials have previously accused Iran of cooperating with the group, but Tehran denies this. The hardline Sunni Islamist group considers Shi'ites to be heretics and has targeted them in the past.
The U.S. blacklisting freezes any property of the three men in the United States, and bars U.S. citizens from dealing with them.

"Her parents did not approve," local police official Aqeel Abbas said, citing Kazam’s complaint.
He said Shahid was visiting her family’s village Pindori in Punjab’s Jehlum district.
"She was killed on July 20. She has been killed for honor," Abbas said, quoting the complaint.
Officers are now waiting for a post-mortem report, he said, without specifying how Shahid’s husband alleged she was murdered.
In his own statement to police, Shahid’s father denied any charges that his daughter was killed for "honor", adding that he did not want an investigation as she had died of natural causes.
"Honor" killings -- a custom in which a relative is killed by another for bringing the family dishonor -- are a near daily occurrence in Pakistain.
The victims are overwhelmingly women, with hundreds killed each year.
Earlier this month the murder of social media star Qandeel Baloch by her brother, who said it was for "honor", provoked international shock and revulsion.
The killing polarized Pakistain and appears to have spurred politicians to take action. Last week the law minister announced that bills aimed at tackling loopholes that facilitate "honor" killings would soon be voted on by parliament.
Rights groups and politicians have for years called for tougher laws to tackle perpetrators of violence against women in Pakistain.

As thousands of Afghan troops are busy fighting Daesh insurgents in the southern parts of the country, a number of military analysts said they believe that Daesh numbers are being exaggerated and that the Taliban is still the biggest threat to the country.
They said figures revealed by government regarding Daesh casualties in military operations are incorrect.
According to security agencies' information, at least 230 Daesh fighters were killed and 155 wounded - including 70 foreigners, of Pakistan, Uzbek, Tajik and Chechen origins. These were all killed in air raids carried out in parts of Nangarhar over the past two months.
Roughly 14 of Daesh's key commanders have also been listed as among those killed.
According to military affairs analyst Jawed Kohistani: "The major threat to Afghanistan is imposed by the Taliban. They [Taliban] have the control of a further geography and they have the highest fighters [compared to Daesh]. Daesh poses a limited threat to two or three provinces in Afghanistan. It has likely between 1,000 and 1,500 fighters, but it is made bigger in the media and their activities are emboldened during operations by security forces and during speeches of foreign officials."
He added: "This is a matter of concern. Daesh might be considered a project for the future of Afghanistan."
When asked about the number of Daesh insurgents fighting Afghan troops, the defense ministry spokesman Dawlat Waziri said: "The major hubs of Daesh were eliminated in Achin last night and are under full control of the Afghan security forces. Therefore, they [Daesh] were hundreds but the hundreds were killed."
Meanwhile, senior U.S officials recently said there are between 1,000 and 3,000 Daesh fighters in Afghanistan. However, the U.S Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said they are committed to helping Afghan forces combat against terrorism.
"Afghan troops are successful in this fighting season and in recognition of the fact even though they have come a long way since when they started, they still benefit from the support of U.S forces," he said.
As per the reports, Daesh rebels are operating in Kot, Achin, Deh Bala, Nazian, Pachergam and Sherzad districts in Nangarhar as well as in Ghaziabad, Marawara, Sarkano and Nari districts in Kunar province. Tens of Houthi militias were reportedly killed during the attack.
Tuesday's attack comes after five Saudi border guards were killed on Monday in festivities with gangs seeking to enter from Yemen, state television ... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
al-Ekhbariya reported, citing the Saudi interior ministry.
A ministry statement added the border guards detected attempts by "hostile" gangs to cross the border on several fronts in the southern region of Najran on Monday morning. Eight hours of festivities ensued.
Peace talks in Kuwait between Yemen’s government and the Houthis to end the conflict have dragged on for more two months with few concrete results. A truce that began on April 10 has dampened fighting, but skirmishes continue almost daily.

[ThinkProgress] Last month, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency quietly deported dozens of African immigrants who were trying to seek asylum in the United States.
Sixty-three men who were unable to secure visas to stay in the country legally on humanitarian relief claims, according to a source within ICE who spoke to ThinkProgress on condition of anonymity. Activists who spoke with deported individuals said they were sent back to Nigeria, Ghana, and Senegal.
Immigration activists believe that number may be closer to 90. They also say many of these men shouldn’t have been targeted by ICE in the first place because they had already passed their credible fear interviews -- a preliminary step in the asylum process to determine whether immigrants would be placed in grave danger if they’re returned to their home countries.
Some lawyers say that black immigrants have the odds stacked against them in the immigration court system. ICE generally requires immigrants to have a sponsor who’s a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. The agency also has stringent requirements for identity documents, which is problematic for immigrants from countries like Somalia where the government didn’t always have the ability to issue those documents, according to Jessica Shulruff Schneider, a supervising attorney at the Americans for Immigrant Justice.
"Many of the individuals that are Africans don’t have close family members or friends to assist them from the outside," said Shulruff Schneider. "It makes it virtually impossible to fight your case."

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Syrian army sent text messages to residents of rebel-held eastern Aleppo saying it will grant safe passage to people wishing to leave the area, which has been effectively besieged by pro-government forces, state media said on Tuesday.
The army called on residents to push "mercenaries" out of the city - a reference to rebel fighters - and said it would give safe passage and temporary accommodation for anyone wishing to leave the area, state news agency SANA said.
The messages also called on gangs to lay down their weapons, SANA said.
Concern has been growing for at least 250,000 people who have been trapped in rebel-held eastern Aleppo since heavy fighting effectively closed the last supply route, the Castello Road, in early July.
Syria’s most populous city before the war, Aleppo has been divided for years between rebel and government-held zones. Full control of Aleppo would be a significant prize for Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad Despoiler of Deraa... On Monday, Russia’s UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin told the UN Security Council that by day people in the eastern areas of Aleppo can move to the western part of the city, "where the situation is significantly better".

In scene after scene, the camera follows him as he shoots at enemy positions using various automatic weapons; he rides a motorcycle through battle-ravaged neighborhoods, passing the unburied bodies of Daesh victims; he checks the ID's of the freshly-killed infidels brought to him by his subordinates; he pays a courtesy visit to an elderly local woman; he steps on the petrified skull of a defeated enemy, while promising a place in paradise to those who join Daesh. The video delivers a simple message: Back home I was a nobody; here I am a warlord.
It has become one of the most popular propaganda videos ever produced by Daesh's Russian-language unit. It is worth noting that Vadim Osmanov, one of the bombers at Istanbul's Atatürk Airport, was a Lezgin – the same Sunni ethnic group to which Abdulla the Caucasian belongs.

[Mindanao Examiner] Malaysia on Tuesday confirmed that the Abu Sayyaf was behind the kidnappings of five Malaysian tugboat crewmen who disappeared in Sabah. No further details were made available by the Malaysian police and Philippine authorities were also silent on the reports.
The Borneo Post reported last week that Abu Sayyaf militants demanded P200 million in exchange for the safe release of the hostages. It said that one of the hostages phoned his employer to say that they are being held in Basilan province.
Anjut said the kidnappers were demanding the ransoms for their freedom, but Philippine military and police authorities could not immediately confirm nor deny the reports.
The sailors, all crew members of the tugboat Seruduna 3, disappeared at sea off Lahad Datu town on July 18. Their tugboat was recovered by authorities with its engine still running. The boat was set to return to Semporna after its barge delivered its cargo to Sandakan City.
The Abu Sayyaf also seized 7 other Indonesian tugboat crewmen on June 22 in the Sulu Sea Those hostages were last reported being sighted in Luuk town. The boat was heading to Samarinda in East Kalimantan when gunmen on speedboats intercepted it. Indonesian media reported that the tugboat skipper phoned his wife and told her that they were intercepted at sea by Abu Sayyaf gunmen who were also demanding over P200 million for their safe release.

Jeddah – Intense disputes had ignited between Houthis’ leadership and presidential guards in several locations. Insurgents’ leadership in Sanaa has not been able to deal with these disagreements that are spreading widely.
High ranking Yemeni source stressed that conflicts intensified due to several reasons including lack of cash liquidity, change in exchange rate, and cut-off weaponry reinforcements.
According to a military source, investigations revealed that disagreements are over prize war distributions.
The source added that deep altercations between the leadership have reflected on their loyalists in the field. A number of Houthi and former Yemeni President Ali Abdulallah Saleh armed factions surrendered and left their front lines mentioning that the number of surrendered soldiers could add up to a fully-equipped brigade.
He said that other militia fighters chose to flee Nahim and Bayhan frontlines to nearby villages leaving their weapons behind.
Particular authorities at the legitimate government began sorting out the soldiers and leadership and isolated them in safe areas. Afterwards, they will be investigated in order to reveal the military strategies used by militias.
Military experts believe that arguments between military leaderships, high ranking militants fleeing the battlefield, and surrender of militants is an indication that these militias are weakening.
Experts also revealed that since these militias depend on mercenaries, the moment the battles intensify, the mercenaries will escape the battlefield or they would prefer to surrender themselves than be killed.
Yemen’s Deputy Chief of Staff General Nasir al-Tahiri said that during recent battles, it became evident that militias lack military strength. He explained that this was made clear with dozens of military platoons fleeing the combat zone despite having military reinforcements.
General Tahiri explained that a large number of members surrendering means there is a gap between the militants and their leadership. He added that this led to their death or captivity.
According to Tahiri, the army directly investigates the captives to reveal their ranks and how involved they are in such acts.
Recently, a large number of direct arguments occurred between Houthis and their ally Ali Abdullah Saleh. Tahiri confirmed that, after identifying the leaders, the army investigates them to uncover information that will help the army.

The Arab Coalition Forces Command announced the martyrdom of the two Saudi pilots in the Apache helicopter crash due to bad weather while on mission inside Yemeni territory in Marib.

The seizure of the white National Security Directorate complex and the Sirte clinic, further shrinks the territory controlled by IS.
The clinic is directly to the east of the Hay Dolar residential district finally overrun in Thursday’s bloody fighting. It was discovered today that the terrorists had removed some of the clinic’s surgical and radiography equipment, it was assumed to their main redoubt in the Ouagadougou Centre. Besides this, IS still controls the Ibn Sina hospital and most of Sirte university campus.
It is understood that considerable attention is being given to the IS bomb-making plant overrun on Saturday. Unlike the previous two captured stores of shells, detonators and timers, this facility was notable for the range of measuring, testing and machining equipment it contained. BM fighters discovered detailed bomb-making instructions and other technical literature, along with atomic scales and highly sensitive voltmeters. The property is now being guarded. [Libya Observer] The revolutionaries of the western region threatened the countries that are supporting Khalifa Haftar ... served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all... of losing the gas supplies from Libya if they continue to support him.
In a statement delivered from the vicinity of Mellitah Complex for Oil and Gas, in which a gas pipeline from Libya to Europe is located, the revolutionaries denounced the silence of the international community and the UN Security Council about the flagrant French intervention and said those countries bear the responsibility for all the war crimes that are being committed against civilians in Derna and Benghazi.
They also called on the UN to end the appointment of Martin Kobler as the UNSMIL Head and UN envoy to Libya.
"We reject the statement made by Mihdi Al-Barghathi, the defense minister-designate of the UN-proposed government, which attacked Defend Benghazi Brigades, who are Benghazi displaced residents and have the right to return, so they are innocent of what they are accused of." The revolutionaries’ statement reads.
It added that the revolutionaries decry the Presidential Council’s passive stance that shows its role in the conspiracy against February 17 revolution, saying, "Go back to where you came from as you were the reason behind the suffering of the people."
"We hail the victories made by Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos forces in Sirte against IS bandidosmurderous Moslems and we call on all Libyans to renounce the conflicts and unite to help build their country anew." The statement concluded.

[BREITBART] The more details that emerge surrounding the gruesome lethal attack on a priest in northern La Belle France Tuesday, the more it appears that the attack could have been foreseen and perhaps prevented.

The assailants seized Father Hamel and slit his throat before taking the other members of the congregation as hostages.
It turns out that the parish Church of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, the site of the assault, was on an Islamic State hit list recovered from suspected jihadist Sid Ahmed Ghlam, in April 2015. The 24-year-old Ghlam was tossed in the clink Drop the rod and step away witcher hands up! by French police, who believe he was a terrorist planning imminent attacks in La Belle France under the direction of Islamic State leaders.
At the time, an arsenal of weapons was discovered in Ghlam’s car as well as at his student residence, which included Kalashnikov rifles, a police-issue pistol, and a number of bullet-proof vests. Ghlam is currently in a high-security prison awaiting trial for numerous crimes including murder, attempted murder, association with criminals with a view to commit crimes and other infractions connected to a terrorist organization.
After the arrest, police discovered a list of Catholic sites to be targeted by Islamic State terrorists, which included the location of Tuesday’s attack.
The beautiful sixteenth-century church of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray is a French heritage monument, to which a tower was added in the 17th century.
More importantly, the church also "happened" to be right next door to the Yahiya mosque of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, whose best-known worshiper was the notorious French jihadist executioner Maxime Hauchard. A connection that would be labeled 'entirely coincidental' in the States.
Hauchard, who appeared in a video of the beheading of American aid worker Peter Kassig and 18 Syrian military captives in 2014, converted to Islam at the age of 17 and frequented the mosque of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, a stone’s throw from the parish church.
Several years ago, Islamic State recruiters contacted and enlisted Hauchard, who became involved in the 2014 takeover of djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... . "My personal goal is martyrdom, obviously," Hauchard said in a television interview.

One of a pair of ISIS knifemen who stormed a church in Normandy before slitting the throat of an elderly priest has been named as known terror threat Adel Kermiche. The 19-year-old 'ISIS soldier' was being monitored with an electronic ankle tag after he was arrested for twice attempting to flee France to join the terror group in Syria. Despite having been released early from prison, Kermiche's bail conditions allowed him to roam unsupervised between 8.30am and 12.30pm. [Dhaka Tribune] When police raided the suspected militant den in “Jahaj Bari” on Road no 5 in Kallyanpur, Dhaka early morning yesterday, they found several black panjabis, two black flags with “Allahu Akbar” written in Arabic, and jihadi books.
The militants themselves were wearing black panjabis and “keffiyeh” – the red-and-white chequered scarf commonly used by Arabs, according to police sources.
The black flags and the keffiyehs are particularly used by the members of international terrorist group Islamic State (IS).

[Libya Herald] The House of Representatives’ (HoR) Libyan National Army Chief of Staff, Abdelrazak Nazhuri, warned that any foreign oil tankers approaching the Libyan coast will be targeted by the air force.
Nazhuri, who has also been appointed military ruler in the east, said that only oil tankers that had been sanctioned by the eastern-based National Oil Corporation (NOC) recognized by the HoR would be allowed to enter Libyan waters.
Nazhuri’s statement seems to have put an end to the reunification of the Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... and Benghazi NOC reached in July this year. His threat has come on the back of the meeting by UNSMIL chief Martin Kobler with regional strongman and Petroleum Facilities Guard head Ibrahim Jadhran in the eastern port of Ras Lanuf last week. Kobler was hoping to persuade Jadhran to reopen the eastern oil ports of Ras Lanuf, Sidra and Zuetina.
Jadhran has been blockading the export of oil from the local coastal oil port terminals under his control since the time of Prime Minister Ali Zeidan ... served as a diplomat for Libya during the 1970s, serving in India under Ambassador Mohammed Magariaf. Both men defected in 1980 and went on to form the National Front for the Salvation of Libya. Zeidan spent nearly three decades in exile in Geneva after the defection. During the revolution Zeidan served as the National Transitional Council's Europe envoy, and is credited as having played a key role in persuading French President Nicolas Sarkozy to support the anti-Qadaffy forces... back in August 2013. As a result, Libyan oil production has plummeted from a post Qadaffy high of 1.5 million in 2013 to anything ranging from 200,000 to 400,000 bpd in the intervening years.
The Kobler-Jadhran meeting has, however, invoked a negative reaction from the tribes controlling the actual inland oilfields and regions which the pipelines pass through on their way to the coastal ports and oil terminals.
The tribes said that Kobler must speak directly to them and reach a separate agreement with them if he wished to have oil production resumed at the source. They also insisted that they only recognize the HoR and its Abduallah Thinni government in Beida. Jadhran, on the other hand, now claims to recognize the only internationally recognized government of Faiez Serraj and his PC/GNA in Tripoli.
To further complicate matters, Mustafa Sanalla, the chairman of the Tripoli-based and PC/GNA recognized NOC, has slammed Kobler for meeting Jadhran.
In a leaked letter to Kobler, a copy of which was seen by Libya Herald, Sanalla criticized the UNSMIL chief for giving implicit recognition to Jadhran who Sanalla labelled a ’’criminal’’. Sanalla objected to Jadhran being rewarded having cost the Libyan state ’’over $ 100 billion in lost (oil) revenues’’ in nearly three years.

CBS12 obtained a guide published by al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula ...the latest incarnation of various Qaeda and Qaeda-allied groups, including the now-defunct Aden-Abyan Islamic Army that boomed the USS Cole in 2000... (AQAP), and it reveals in great detail the threat faced by every American--especially white Americans.
AQAP’s "Inspire Guide" --an online propaganda publication--praises Pulse nightclub shooter and Fort Pierce resident Omar Mateen for what the terror group describes in its publication as one of "the most successful Lone Jihad operations" in history.
Al Qaeda is also calling for more attacks.
"We... call upon the Moslems in America to take up arms in defense of their religion," the publication reads. "We call upon every single Moslem... to follow upon the footsteps of our hero Umar Mateen.. to rise, and strike America."
The terror group praised Mateen as a martyr, but it also "Monday morning-quarterbacked" him in recommending that jihadists target "areas where the Anglo-Saxon community is generally concentrated".
Their concern: that targeting minorities will distract in the media from the terrorists' ultimate message. Former FBI Special Agent Chad Jenkins told CBS12 that both Al Qaeda and the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... are taking credit for Mateen's agenda. "Those types of incidents... they use that to spread their propaganda."
"Their objective... is to get people here in the U.S. and in the West to conduct these terrorist attacks that are low level in nature and create great harm for people."

Russia will never be a friend. Our spheres of interest butt up against one another too much.
But, they can be a useful associate on some issues. I just don't see how we can agree on ISIS as Russia wants Assad propped up and they are using Iran to push the US influence out of the Middle East. Not much common ground there.
For the second day in a row, the Ras Jadir border crossing btween Libya and Tunisia has been closed to vehicle traffic today as a result of moves by a Zawia militia to oust the guards from Zuwara.
Zawia’s Jamal Al-Ghaib Brigade which has operated a checkpoint near the border for some time claims that the Zuwarans are complicit in smuggling across the frontier. They say they want to put a stop to this, although there are alternative suggestions that in reality they want a slice of the business.
Travellers willing to walk across the frontier are being permitted.
At the crossing, the smuggling has long been on public display with smugglers opening driving truckloads of cheap Libyan petrol and other subsidised goods across into Tunisia.
Efforts by the Tunisia authorities on the other side of the border to curtail the smuggling have often been impeded by locals involved in the trade.
Meanwhile, access to the alternative, southern Dehiba-Wazin crossing was restricted yesterday after the Tunisian army blocked the road near Remada, some 50 kilometres from Dehiba, targeting fuel smugglers. According to the Tunisian news agency TAP, one smuggler was shot dead in the action. This then provoked protests in Remada which ended only when troops fired into the air over the demonstrators.

Alliance with Russia against the whole of Salafist Jihad makes perfect sense. India should be included in that alliance. With the exception of Poland and possibly Spain, Europe now accepts the Salafist Jihad, deliberately invited it in, so instead of protecting Europe, now Muslim, from Russia (still Christian), in that region USA should be protecting Russia from pincer movement coming from its west (Muslim Europe) and East (the Muslim 'stans), south (Turkey) and southeast (Iran).
Trump is right, NATO is obsolete. Staying in NATO, USA is directly protecting Salafist Jihad that controls Europe, excepting Poland and perhaps Spain. Times have changed. American citizens themselves watch the D-R Uniparty dissolving the United States and attacking them personally by destroying their country's borders. This is why Trump, who doesn't need to, decided to offer in, to help save the country and protect her citizens. And it is why a movement-in-waiting immediately polymerized around his offer.
What's needed now is forging out the conceptual framework that expresses and helps concretizes in institutions and alliances the powers of history and being itself which are in evidence. Just in Europe alone, NATO, SACEUR, EUCOM and Bretton Woods need replacing and with the force vectors running pretty much the opposite direction from those created in the 1940s. Excepting Poland and maybe Spain, Europe is Salafist, an enemy now of Christian and Hindu civilizations.

A growing number of other war veterans have joined the Zim-bob-we National Liberation War Veterans’ Association in calling Mugabe, 92, a "dictator", demanding he quit and vowing not to support him in the next elections in 2018 if he does not.
The association also criticised the government’s recent attacks against peaceful protesters who spoke out about the economy and against the police via social media and conducted a stayaway three weeks ago.
Mugabe was facing "an endgame of tragic dimensions", Zim-bob-we weekly, The Independent, editor Dumisani Muleya said on Friday.
"If the war veterans join forces with the national resistance movement driven by civic groups and backed by churches and opposition parties, Mugabe, already on the ropes and hanging onto power by [his] fingernails, could soon face his Waterloo."
Growing protest against the government has been fuelled by a dire economic crisis, including a lack of cash, even to pay soldiers on time. They are usually the first to be paid.
On Saturday the governing Zanu PF struck back at the war veterans, calling them "treasonous" and "traitorous." Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who is also a war veteran, delivered a more muted response.
"If they are true war veterans, the president is their commander-in-chief and they must be loyal and committed. I don’t think those who say such things are loyal or genuine war veterans."
Mnangagwa is tipped to succeed Mugabe and has the support of many veterans. War veterans leader Chris Mutsvangwa was fired from the cabinet post he held on behalf of veterans in March and was then expelled from Zanu PF for opposing Mugabe’s wife Grace, who appears to have ambitions to succeed him when he dies.
New war veterans minister Tshinga Dube suggested on Saturday that the ex-fighters elect a new leader to replace Mutsvangwa. But another senior veteran Francis Nhando responded by saying the association fully backed Mutsvangwa. "He [Mugabe] should announce his retirement date. It will be very difficult to campaign for him in 2018 because we are no longer working together," he said.
Former vice president Joice Mujuru, herself a veteran of the liberation war, said over the weekend: "I want to tell war veterans not to be scared with threats that your farms will be repossessed and your pensions freezed. That won’t happen," she told a rally about 100km southeast of Harare, which she addressed as leader of her new political party Zim-bob-we First.
Mujuru, a life-long member of Zanu PF, was stripped of her position and expelled from the party in late 2014 after she declared her interest in succeeding Mugabe. The attack on her was led by Grace Mugabe’s supporters.
Another war veteran Rugare Gumbo, a former Zanu PF front man also expelled from Zanu PF in 2014 and now a supporter of Mujuru’s party, said on Sunday: "The statement was issued by genuine war veterans. They were in Mozambique. We knew them there. They fought in the war, and the situation in Zim-bob-we now is very poor. So many are suffering. The criticism was correct. You will see more and more of them criticising Mugabe."

Two senior Turkish generals serving in the NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all.... force in Afghanistan were detained at Dubai airport on suspicion of links to the attempt to overthrow Erdogan, an official said, speaking on condition of anonymity ... for fear of being murdered... The source named the pair as Major General Mehmet Cahit Bakir, the commander of Turkey's task force in Afghanistan, and Brigadier General Sener Topuc.
The detentions followed cooperation between Turkish intelligence and UAE authorities, the state-run Anadolu news agency added, saying the pair were now being brought to Turkey.
"The Turkish contingent continues its mission," a front man for the NATO force in Afghanistan said, without further comment.
In a separate development, police were searching a naval academy just outside Istanbul in a probe into coup plotters, reports said.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Islamist terrorism has arrived in Germany and politicians must address the public's concerns about security and immigration, Bavaria state premier Horst Seehofer said on Tuesday.
"Each attack, each act of terrorism, is one too many. Islamist terrorism has arrived in Germany," Seehofer told a news conference.
A spate of attacks in Germany since July 18 have left 11 people dead and dozens injured, fuelling public unease about Chancellor Angela Merkel ...current chancellor of Germany. She was educated in East Germany when is was still run by commies, but in 1989 got involved with the growing democracy movement when the Berlin Wall fell. Merkel is sometimes referred to by Germans as Mom... 's open-door refugee policy. More than a million migrants colonists entered Germany last year, many fleeing conflict in Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq.
This month, four brutal attacks have taken place in the south of the country.
A Syrian asylum seeker went kaboom! outside a music festival and maimed 15 other people in Ansbach on Sunday, six days after four passengers on a train and a passer-by were maimed in an axe attack by an Afghan refugee in Wuerzburg.
ISIS claimed both attacks.
On Friday, nine people were killed in a shopping center shooting spree in Munich by a German-Iranian teenager with a history of psychological problems.
Although authorities initially claimed the 18-year-old gunman had no links to myrmidons, Bavarian officials said on Monday that the 18-year-old gunman had been in touch with the Afghan ax attacker over WhatsApp.
And a Syrian refugee killed a 45-year-old Polish woman with a large kebab knife Sunday at a snack bar in the southwestern city of Reutlingen.
Police concluded that the incident, in which three others were maimed, was likely a "crime of passion".
[IsraelTimes] Top security officials in Germany called Tuesday for tougher security screening of asylum-seekers and also announced that more police officers would be hired following four attacks in the country in the span of a week — two of them claimed by the extremist Islamic State group.
Horst Seehofer, the governor of Bavaria told the daily Sueddeutsche Zeitung Tuesday: “We must know who is in our country.”
Thomas Strobl, the interior minister of Baden-Wuerttemberg also demanded a tougher stance toward asylum-seekers.
“Those who abuse the right to hospitality must go back to their home countries — make no mistake about it,” Strobl told Funke media group.
Seehofer also announced that the state of Bavaria would hire more police officers.
“The increase will be significant,” he said.

Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ... targets near the border a day after five of its soldiers were killed in the frontier province of Najran, the Arabic website of Al Arabiya News Channel.
The five soldiers had been killed in eight hours of fighting when the Saudis confronted "enemy elements of gangs who tried to infiltrate in several places" in the Najran area, the state-run SPA news agency reported a ministry front man as saying.

Meanwhile, ...back at the laboratory, Igor and Oleg were discussing what the quickest way might be to deal with the monster... sources in the southern city of Taiz told Al Arabiya that fighters from the Popular Resistance who are loyal to the Saudi-backed government of President Abdrabbu Mansour Hadi seized control of a mountain area near Taiz on Monday evening, after violent festivities with the Houthi militias.
Dozens of Houthi members were killed during the festivities, including one of their leaders Alawi Abdullah Abdul Ghani al-Junaid, and dozens were maimed. Another leader named Qanaf al-Soufi was also captured.
Eyewitnesses reported that Houthi militias had sent dozens of rockets and missiles targeting villages and neighborhoods situated at the bottom of the mountain.
The resistance has also repelled an attack led by the Houthis on the eastern side of the mountain. Violent festivities took place in different towns overlooking Taiz, where Houthis are trying to seize control of the city.
A military source said that Arab-led coalition aircraft bombed the coastal defense camp in al-Mukha west of Taiz. Smoke was seen rising from the camp.
The source added that the militias suffered from dozens of casualties and injuries targeted by the bombing in the vicinity of Mukha, in the north of the Bab el-Mandeb strait.

A video emerged in mid-May this year online which shows the Iranian Supreme Leader meeting with the families of the Afghan fighters killed in Syria.

Judicial commissioner Datuk Mohamad Shariff Abu Samah set three days for trial from Sept 5.

She has been a politician since 1992, and prior to that was in training as a political science major. Her primary accomplishment seems to be that she's Jewish... as soon as the Democratic convention in Philadelphia wraps up. Brazile has worked as a political strategist and Democratic party operative for over thirty years, going all the way back to a job on Jesse Jackson’s 1984 effort in the Democratic presidential primary. In 1988, Brazile was working for Michael Dukakis’ presidential campaign when she made an ill-fated decision to believe an unsubstantiated rumor about George H.W. Bush having an extramarital affair.
"George Bush owes it to the American people to fess up," Brazile said. "The American people have every right to know if Barbara Bush will share that bed with him in the White House."
Brazile’s comments were widely denounced as offensive. The Dukakis campaign disavowed them a day later and Brazile resigned from the campaign.
But Brazile’s career was hardly finished, and she didn’t lose her penchant for bold remarks. More than a decade later, she was the campaign manager for Al Gore’s presidential campaign and told The Washington Post she was determined not to let "white boys" defeat her.
"[It’s not a] gender or race, it’s an attitude. A white-boy attitude is ’I must exclude, denigrate and leave behind," Brazile told the Post in 1999. "They don’t see it or think about it. It’s a culture."

That is why they actively discriminate against the new whites, aka Asians, in universities and colleges of the elite (and California). Asians integrated, the original goal of 'civil rights'. For them it wasn't about power, but achieving success all in the 'Western' sense just like those back home in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and now China.

[REUTERS] The top state prosecutors in New York and Massachusetts said on Tuesday they will refuse to comply with a subpoena from U.S. congressmen for details on their investigations into whether Exxon Mobil misled investors on climate change risks.
The moves by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey are the latest in the political and legislative fight over Exxon Mobil (XOM.N) and investigations on whether the oil company knowingly misled shareholders and the public on climate change.
Earlier this month, the U.S. House of Representatives committee on science, space and technology issued subpoenas to Schneiderman and Healey to force them to submit information on their Exxon investigations, accusing them of having a political agenda.
Healey's legal counsel said in a letter to Republican committee chair Lamar Smith of Texas the subpoena was an "unconstitutional and unwarranted" interference with Massachusetts' "legitimate" investigation into Exxon.
Schneiderman said his office refuses to comply with what he called an "unprecedented" subpoena for a state attorney general, and said the committee does not have a constitutional right to interfere with the states' probes.

Certainly there must be a BLM mother to an 'innocent' child somewhere. If cops are hunting down black folks you'd think they would have no trouble finding hundreds that don't have truth issues with the stories.
I'm volunteer fire, and we may squabble and call names during game night, but I consider the blue canaries my cousins.
They block traffic, help out with wrecks, in short cover our backs so we can concentrate on our fronts.
Nevermind what they do for my urban firefighter brothers especially sketchy neighborhoods. Did you see the reports of the vandals cutting fire hoses during Baltimore? Having a hose go out will ruin your day, especially on attack.
