DC’s Transgender Cop Poster Child Turns Out To Be A Pervert
[DAILYCALLER] A transgender police officer in Washington, D.C., who has repeatedly been praised as a community role model has also quietly been reprimanded for improper sexually-tinged antics with underage police interns.

In a story published Thursday night, NBC4 News profiled Jessica Hawkins as a police officer who "helps build trust in [the] D.C. community" due to his work on an LGBT outreach unit. Hawkins, who previously went by Billy, is biologically male but identifies as a woman, and publicly transitioned two years ago.

NBC4’s story is just the latest positive one about Hawkins, who has also been profiled by NPR, Metro Weekly and other outlets.

But a new report by local D.C. station Fox 5 shows another, more disturbing side of Hawkins that hasn’t appeared in profiles. According to the report, Hawkins has repeatedly landed in hot water because of his conduct around interns for D.C.’s police department.

"Sgt. Hawkins showed the interns a ’homemade video of her having sex with 4 men while she was intoxicated,'" Fox’s report says. Another complain filed against Hawkins accused him of taking under-21 interns to an Arlington gay bar, where she helped them buy alcohol and laughed at one intern’s possession of a fake ID.

According to Fox, Hawkins has admitted that both complaints against him are accurate, and was quite cavalier in the admission. Hawkins even volunteered that he had shown other interns an inappropriate picture on his phone.

In a statement, D.C. police told Fox that Hawkins’ case is still ongoing.

"That investigation has concluded and the findings are currently with the MPD’s disciplinary review division," the statement said. "The DRD will review and determine an appropriate penalty. Throughout the investigation, Sergeant Hawkins remained in her current assignment and is still widely considered a valuable MPD team member in our special liaison division."

Africa Subsaharan
Gambia: Confusion As Jammeh 'Annuls' Poll Result
What Jammeh is doing isn't confusing at all...
[All Africa] Freetown -- Gambia
... The Gambia is actually surrounded by Senegal on all sides but its west coast. It has a population of about 1.7 million. The difference between the two is that in colonial days Senegal was ruled by La Belle France and The Gambia (so-called because there's only one of it, unlike Guinea, of which there are the Republic of Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, New Guinea, the English coin in circulation between 1663 and 1813, and Guyana, which sounds like it should be another one) was ruled by Britain...
has been thrown into a state of anxiety and confusion after long serving leader Yahya Jammeh annulled last week's presidential election result, citing irregularities.
Golly, I'm glad that sort of thing can't happen here.
President Jammeh, in a surprise announcement on state TV Friday evening, called for a rerun of the poll that was won by opposition candidate Adama Barrow. He alleged that the election had been rigged in favour of the opposition and cited irregularities in the counting.

President Jammeh also said investigations by his party suggested that many of their voters were deliberately discouraged from casting their ballots.

"After a thorough investigation, I have decided to reject the outcome of the recent election," he said in a statement aired on the Gambia Radio and Television Services.

"I recommend fresh and transparent elections which will be officiated by a God-fearing and independent electoral commission."

Swift condemnation
The move has provoked swift condemnation from the international community.

Mr Barrow, backed by a coalition of seven parties, won the three-man race on on December 1 with 43 per cent of the total votes cast, against president Jammeh's 40 per cent.

The third candidate, Mr Mama Kandeh, received 17 per cent.

The new president was expected to be inaugurated at the end of January 2017.

The coalition
A front man for the coalition called for calm in a brief statement.

The head of the coalition transition team, Mr Mai Ahmed Fatty said: "We are working round the clock to restore sanity. The world is with us."

Neighbouring Senegal
... a nation of about 14 million on the west coast of Africa bordering Mauretania to the north, Mali to the east, and a pair of Guineas to the south, one of them Bissau. It is 90 percent Mohammedan and has more than 80 political parties. Its primary purpose seems to be absorbing refugees...
hinted at a possible action, calling for an urgent UN Security Council meeting.

In a strongly-worded statement, the Senegalese Foreign ministry also urged the Gambian authorities to respect the will of the people, calling on the regional blocs, Ecowas and the African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...
, as well as the United Nation, to take all measures to protect the illusory sovereignty of the Gambian people.

A serious violation
"Senegal considers null and void Jammeh's Friday declaration which is a serious violation of the basic principles of democracy," said Foreign Minister Mankeur Ndiaye.

The Senegalese government also warned against any harm befalling its citizens in Gambia.

The US State Department dismissed the reversal of President Jammeh's concession speech as "null and void," while urging the military and other national institutions to ensure a peaceful transfer of power.

"This action is reprehensible and unacceptable breach of faith with the people of The Gambia and an egregious attempt to undermine a credible election process and remain in power illegitimately," said State Department front man Mark Toner.

Death toll from measles outbreak reaches 10
[DAWN] SHANGLA: Death toll from the measles outbreak has reached 10 as four more children are reported to have become victims of the disease in Shangla during last four days.

Residents of Koz Kana village said four more children died and several others were hospitalised due to measles in the last four days. They identified the dear departed children as Ishrat Bibi (7) of Kotkay Alpuri, Mustafa Khan (4), Anas Shah (2) and Adil Zada of Koz Kana.

The fear-gripped residents demanded the government to take notice of the outbreak of the disease and sent medical teams to the affected areas forthwith. They alleged that despite media reports the health department was yet to come into action.

District health officer Dr Shafiul Mulk told Dawn that about 800 children had been vaccinated in the last two days during the anti-measles drive.

He, however, said they were facing shortage of vaccine, adding a demand notice for the purpose had been sent to the provincial health department.

He admitted rapid spread of the disease, and said they were using all available resources to bring the situation under control.

Meanwhile,
...back at the revival hall, the congregants were being herded into the paddy wagon...
district council member Gul Mohammad told Dawn that he had informed the district nazim
...small time big shot, the chief elected official of a local government in Pakistan, such as a district, tehsil, union council, or village council...
and other authorities concerned about the outbreak of measles, but no measures were taken to control the outbreak.

He demanded of the chief minister and the health minister to take notice of the situation and dispatch special medical teams to the affected areas to vaccinate the children.

Woman allegedly sets son on fire
[DAWN] An infant died of burn injuries after allegedly being set on fire by his mother in G-6/2 on Friday, police said. Doctors confirmed that Haider, the three-month-old child, died in the hospital within hours.

The incident occurred at the child’s home while his father was away and he was at home with his mother and grandmother. The incident came to light when the child’s father informed the police.

The police said the infant was in a stroller when he was allegedly set on fire by his mother, a psychiatric patient. The child’s grandmother shouted for help and caught the neighbours’ attention, who rushed to rescue the child and informed the child’s father.

The child was shifted to a hospital and admitted to the burn centre under the observation of doctors, police said. However,

the infant did not survive.

Arrest warrants for gang-rape suspect
[DAWN] LAHORE: A Lahore High Court division bench on Friday issued non-bailable warrants for the arrest of gang-rape suspect, former office-bearer of PML-N youth wing, as he failed to join proceedings of a prosecution’s appeal against the bail granted to him by a lower court.

The bench headed by Justice Shahid Hameed Dar directed the police to produce the suspect on Dec 23.

Additional prosecutor general Abdul Samad appeared before the bench and asked it to issue non-bailable warrants for the arrest of the suspect for his constant failure to appear before the court.

The prosecution department in its appeal contended that a sessions court granted bail to the accused after the aggrieved girl tendered an affidavit in his favour. It said the affidavit filed by the girl was a result of pressure exerted on her family by the accused party.

The appeal stated that the girl in her first statement recorded before a judicial magistrate had maintained that `S’ was the prime suspect.

It said after the victim’s statement the suspect could not be given concession of bail. It asked the court to declare the affidavit of the girl void and cancel bail granted to the suspect.

The Racecourse police had tossed in the calaboose
Drop the heater, Studs, or you're hist'try!
the prime suspect and his seven accomplices on charges of abducting a teenage girl and subjecting her to gang-rape.

All the suspects, except the main accused, joined the high court’s proceedings through their counsel.

Home Front: Culture Wars
Macy's Pulls Financial Support From Planned Parenthood
[Wash Times] It is a miracle on 34th Street, perhaps. Macy’s will no longer donate money to Planned Parenthood according to 2ndVote, a conservative watchdog that monitors corporate funding of liberal causes.

The famous department store group has dropped the role of benefactor to Planned Parenthood, the researchers report -- their decision prompted by pro-life customers who complained about the practice. And Macy’s responded. Still, 36 other major retailers and businesses continue donating to the cause, including Ben & Jerry’s, Nike, American Express, Starbucks and Verizon.

"This Christmas, pro-lifers should consider shopping at Macy’s. Because, as it turns out, the giant chain listens to its conservative consumers," notes Katie Yoder, an analyst with Newsbusters.com who also monitors corporate advocacy efforts, including this development.

"It’s unlikely that the liberal media -- which boast strong ties to Planned Parenthood and have been instructed to cover for the abortion giant -- will publicize Macy’s funding halt," she adds.

#3  Dear Santa,
I wish all funding of PP was private and voluntary, ending fed subsidies....I am pro-choice but took responsibility for those I brought into the world, providing basic needs and education. It is my choice alone to make and wish we could all stop imposing our personal choices upon everyone else. Acessible birth control and morning-after pills for the young and poor via OTC would prevent abortion. Liberty and responsibility go hand in hand but you cannot legislate love so we should settle for common sense. Enjoy your Starbuck's Salted Caramel Macchiato.

#4  Damn. I wish I could just go buy a pair of socks or a cup of coffee without having to worry about my money going to pay for an abortion. I wish I could go to a movie or buy a CD without worrying that some of the profits will be contributed to the election campaign of some idiot politician. Why can't these people just do their jobs and leave the politics out of it?

#5  #3 - "Acessible birth control and morning-after pills for the young and poor via OTC would prevent abortion"

Absolutely, which is one reason Republicans (even this Roman Catholic) support easily accessible OTC BC. It's the PP/Donk abortion religion that opposes it: "On Monday, the political action arm of Planned Parenthood issued a statement accusing Gardner and other Republicans of trying to “muddy the waters around their unpopular positions on women’s health,” and called the endorsement of over-the-counter birth control pills an “empty gesture.”"

'Rogue One' Premiere Targeted by Pro-Trump Street Artist
[HollywoodReporter] "I'd never seen the mainstream media sell their souls for a candidate the way they did for Hillary, and she still lost," says Sabo, who plastered faux movie posters all over Hollywood Boulevard.

The faux Star Wars poster features a heroic-looking image of Trump with an ominous image of Clinton lurking in the background. Huddled around Trump are his senior counselor Steve Bannon, pundit Ann Coulter, Breitbart News tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos, Fox News host Sean Hannity, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and Vice Media co-founder Gavin McInnes, an early Trump supporter.

At the bottom of the poster, the title of the film has been altered to read, "Rogue Won: A Culture War Story."
The pic of the poster is a scream - wish I knew how to post it here.
