Iowa City: Woman Charged After Detonating Plastic Explosives In Cheating Husband's Anus
[CBSNews] A 43-year old Iowa City woman has been charged with homicide after a brutal crime involving her 49-year old husband, who she had recent discovered had been having an affair with a much younger woman.

The wife, who is being held in custody, is believed to have sourced plastic explosives through an online dark web retailer that only accepts payment with cryptocurrency. According to investigators, she made the purchase after discovering her husband was cheating.

"The woman was enraged to find out her husband had been having an affair for several years with a 24-year old woman he’d met through an online ’sugar daddy’ dating website." The wife was devastated and decided that to get her revenge, she would seek a very unusual method.

"A search of her computer reveals she purchased a small quantity of plastic explosives from a site on the dark web. We believe that she drugged her husband with sleeping pills to sedate him so she could put her plan into action."

It is alleged that the woman inserted the plastic explosives into the anus of her sleeping husband, before detonating them remotely. Investigators found a webcam in the debris which they believe she used to watch her husband explode.

The husband died instantly in the explosion which was loud enough that a neighbor in a nearby house called 911, leading investigators to the gory scene. The woman’s name is being suppressed until the man’s next of kin have been contacted.

If CBS had any integrity they would have just reported that she killed him with plastic explosives instead of putting this out there to make his family feel horrific about his end. But they were probably snickering and knew she'd become a feminist hero among the emotionally immoral set.

Air Hostess Falls out of Indian Plane, Suffers Injuries
[An Nahar] A flight attendant fell out of an Air India plane while trying to close its door on Monday, the airline said, reportedly breaking her leg when she landed on the tarmac.

The accident occurred at Mumbai's international airport as the crew were getting ready to welcome passengers aboard the New Delhi-bound flight.

"The cabin crew member fell off while closing the back door of the Boeing 777 and sustained injuries on Monday morning," Pravin Bhatnagar, a senior manager at Air India, told AFP.

"She is receiving treatment in hospital. An investigation will be carried out to determine the exact cause of the incident."

Indian media reports said the woman, a 52-year-old, was conscious but had leg fractures.

A spokesperson for Nanavati Hospital, where the flight attendant was taken, was not immediately available for comment.
"I can say no more!"
when contacted by AFP.

Debt-laden Air India has been hit by a string of technical glitches and other embarrassing incidents, including staff turning up late for flights, over the years.

The state carrier last week grounded two pilots after one of its jets carrying 136 people hit an airport perimeter wall on take-off and then flew for almost four hours with a damaged body before landing safely.

Middle school apologizes after student advised to turn GOP elephant shirt inside out
[WASHINGTONTIMES] A Florida mother says she received an apology from Kirby-Smith Middle School officials after an employee told her son to turn a GOP elephant shirt inside out.

"Spirit Week" at the Jacksonville school recently inspired one student to show off his conservative credentials, but the outfit didn’t sit well with a staff member. The family, who spoke to local news hounds on condition of anonymity, said the shirt was described as a possible dress code violation.

"It was Nerd Day, so he wanted to be a Republican nerd," the student’s mother said Oct. 12.

A Duval County Public School spokesperson told the station that a staff member was confused about the difference between its employee dress code and the student dress code.

Algeria MPs Padlock Parliament in Protest against Speaker
[An Nahar] Around 200 deputies kept Algeria's parliament locked up for several hours Tuesday in a protest action to press demands for the house speaker to step down.

"We're here to demand the speaker resigns," Abdelhamid Si Affif, the head of parliament's foreign affairs committee, told AFP after the protesters blocked the entrance with a chain and padlock.

Said Bouhadja, president of Algeria's lower house, has since late September resisted calls to resign over charges of "mismanagement, exaggerated and illicit expenses and dubious recruitment."

"This doesn't scare me. I will go to the People's National Assembly (parliament) because I am the president of this institution," Bouhadja told the TSA news website.

He did not, however, make an appearance at Tuesday's protest, which lasted until around midday before the deputies dispersed.

Algeria's constitution and laws do not lay down a procedure for the dismissal of a parliament speaker if he refuses to step aside.

Migrant caravan activists: Trump to blame for Honduras situation
[Al Jazeera] Honduran activists blamed Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
and the United States for the situation forcing thousands to flee the Honduras after the US president warned he may cut aid to the country if a migrant caravan isn't stopped.

"The United States has strongly informed the President of Honduras that if the large Caravan of people heading to the U.S. is not stopped and brought back to Honduras, no more money or aid will be given to Honduras, effectively immediately!" Trump tweeted Tuesday morning.

The comment came more than three days after 1,000 people set out from San Pedro en route to the US. The caravan, which has now grown to more than 2,000 people, was blocked by Guatemalan police at the border on Monday, but was then permitted to enter Guatemala from Honduras.

Hondurans have the right to movement within the C4 region of Central America, including Guatemala, with basic identification. The Honduran government has no jurisdiction in Guatemala.

Honduran human rights
One man's rights are another man's existential threat.
activist Dunia Montoya, who accompanied the caravan to the Guatemalan border and whose husband, Bartolo Fuentes, was detained in Guatemala after crossing with the group, said Trump's tweet "seems like a further abusive comment on the situation in the country".

"[Trump] is responsible for the situation in Honduras. The Trump government validated an illegitimate government," she told Al Jazeera.

Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernandez, currently in Colombia, has not made an official statement in response to the tweet.

But the Honduran Secretariat of Foreign Affairs issued a statement Tuesday afternoon, saying the government "urges Hondurans participating in this irregular movement to not let themselves be used by a movement that clearly seems to be political and that seeks to disturb the governability, stability and peace of our countries."

#12  We should also take Mexico's oil and natural resources as well. Figure up how much has been spent on illegals and take it from their country. If they object, over to exterminate their entire government. I'm done with foreign invaders getting off scot free. Time to put the illegals in the organ banks.

Koreas and UN Command Discuss Demilitarising Border
[An Nahar] The two Koreas and the US-led United Nations
...a formerly good idea gone bad...
Command held talks Tuesday on demilitarising a section of the heavily fortified border dividing the peninsula, as a diplomatic thaw gathers pace.

"The three parties examined the progress in removing landmines at the Joint Security Area (JSA)...and discussed other practical matters regarding steps toward disarming the area," Seoul's defense ministry said in a statement.

The JSA, also known as the truce village of Panmunjom, is the only spot along the tense, 250-kilometre (155-mile) frontier where troops from the two countries stand face to face.

It was a designated neutral zone until the "axe murder incident" in 1976, when North Korean soldiers attacked a work party trying to chop down a tree inside the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), leaving two US army officers dead.

South and North Korea -- which are technically still at war -- agreed to take measures to ease military tensions on their border at a meeting in Pyongyang last month between President Moon Jae-in and Kim Pudge Jong-un
...the overweight, pouty-looking hereditary potentate of North Korea. Pudge appears to believe in his own divinity, but has yet to produce any loaves and fishes, so his subjects remain malnourished...

India's BJP changes Muslim name of Allahabad to Prayagraj
[Al Jazeera] Authorities in India's most populous state have changed the Moslem name of an historic city to one with Hindu overtones, local media reported.

Allahabad, a city of more than one million people in northern Uttar Pradesh (UP) state, will now be known as Prayagraj, a bigwig from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) told news hounds on Tuesday.

Siddarth Nath Singh, UP health minister, said the decision to rename the city was made at a cabinet meeting following a proposal by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who heads the state.

"All the cabinet members were happy and from today onwards, Allahabad's name would change as Prayagraj," he was quoted as saying by the Indian Express newspaper.

Indian court gives life sentence to guru, 14 followers
[DAWN] A court in northern India sentenced a Hindu guru and 14 followers to life imprisonment on Tuesday in the deaths of four women and a child at his sprawling ashram.

The court ordered the penalty for Sant Rampal in Hisar city of Haryana state, where authorities deployed hundreds of riot police in anticipation of violence by the guru's thousands of disciples in response to his sentencing.

Rampal, 67, was tossed in the clink
Maw! They're comin' to get me, Maw!
in 2014 following a days-long standoff between law enforcers and his supporters in which six people died and hundreds were maimed.

At the time, Rampal was wanted for questioning in a 2006 murder case and had repeatedly ignored orders to appear in court.

Police accused Rampal and the 14 followers of holding the four women and child captive inside the ashram, resulting in their deaths from a lack of food and medicine as the fierce standoff continued.

The court is expected to announce sentences in the death of a fifth woman on Wednesday.
