Afghanistan
Pakistan-based Haqqani Network publicizes training camp
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Pakistain-based Haqqani terrorist network has released a video which purportedly shows a training camp run by the terror group along with advertisements of the Taliban group's relationship with al Qaeda terrorist network.

The video having a length of 95 minutes also includes a speech from Sirajuddin Haqqani and was released by the terror group around two weeks ago.

Titled 'Army of Badr' the video highlights the training camp named after Salahdin Ayyubi, the famous Moslem commander int he Crusades, according to Long War Journal which obtained the video.

The camp is shown in a heavily stylized fashion with fighters undergoing various physical training exercises before partaking in weapons drills.

The video shows the bully boyz using AK-47 assault rifles, rocket-propelled grenades (RPG's), SPG-9 recoilless rifles, and various rocket systems.

The exact location of the training camp has not been disclosed but it is believed that in eastern Afghanistan where the Haqqanis are known to operate, or in North Wazoo, Pakistain, where the network also maintains a headquarters.

The training camp is famous for producing suicide kaboomers who have launched coordinated attacks on key installations in Afghanistan.

At least 14 security personnel and 19 heavily armed Taliban fighters were killed and another 154 people were maimed when the bully boyz trained in Salahdin Ayyubi camp launched an attack on an Afghan intelligence compound in Ghazni last year.

The Haqqani terrorist network is accused of staging numerous cross-border attacks from their base in North Waziristan, including the 19-hour siege at the US Embassy in Kabul
...the capital of Afghanistan. Home to continuous fighting from 1992 to 1996 between the forces of would-be strongman and Pak ISI/Jamaat-e-Islami sock puppet Gulbuddin Hekmayar and the Northern Alliance, a period which won Hek the title Most Evil Man in the World and didn't do much for the reputations of the Northern Alliance guys either....
in September 2011.

Haqqani network was formed in the late 1970s by Jalaluddin Haqqani. The group is allied with al-Qaeda and the Afghan Taliban and cooperates with other terrorist organizations in the region.

The network is considered the most lethal holy warrior group targeting the NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all....
-led coalition security forces and Afghan personnel in Afghanistan.

The US Department of State designated the HQN as a Foreign Terrorist Organization on September 7, 2012.

The presence of the terror network apparently sheltered by Pak military has been one of the main controversies between Kabul and Islamabad since the beginning of the war against terrorism in 2001.

The Presidential Palace issued a statement earlier this month after Pakistain's National Security Advisor Sartaj PrunefaceAziz
...Adviser to Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on National Security and Foreign Affairs, who believes in good jihadis and bad jihadis as a matter of national policy...
claimed that the terrorist network is no more operational in Pakistain and that they have shifted to Afghanistan.

The statement by the Presidential Palace stated "The Islamic Theocratic Republic of Afghanistan believes that one of the major differences between Afghanistan and Pakistain is regarding the presence of terrorist groups, specifically the Haqqani Network in Pak soil."

"The recent remarks by Pakistain's National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz, suggesting that the Haqqani Network has been decomposed following military operations, are repeated claims by Pak officials during the past one decade," the statement said.

The Palace insisted that documents and evidences shows that the network's leadership, commander and control, supportive infrastructure and sanctuaries are still operational in Pakistain.

The statement further added that the government of Afghanistan has repeatedly handed over evidences regarding the Haqqani Network operations in Pakistain and has urged the Pak government to take action.

Friday and maimed 28, the civil defense agency said.

The agency described the dear departed as residents of the Saudi border district of Jazan, while Saudi news channel al-Ekhbaria said they were foreigners.

The civil defense added that four Saudis were among the maimed, without giving the nationalities of the others.

Al-Ekhbaria showed pictures of blast-damaged cars and shrapnel-punctured walls.

The attack brings to at least 64 the number of people killed in Saudi Arabia from border shelling and skirmishes since a Saudi-led coalition began a campaign against Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen six months ago.

Most of the border casualties have been soldiers.

The latest shelling came as local anti-rebel fighters backed by Gulf Arab ground troops from the coalition pressed their offensive in Yemen.

Europe
Netherlands Arrests 2 Syrians for Smuggling Hundreds into Europe
[AnNahar] Dutch officials have jugged

two Syrian nationals accused of organizing a huge trafficking network smuggling hundreds of migrants into Europe, prosecutors said Friday.

The two men, arrested in the southern city of Eindhoven after a year-long probe, brought refugees from The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

by boat into Europe, prosecutors told AFP.

Migrants paid some 7,000 euros (8,000 dollars) for the risky crossing across the Mediterranean, arriving in Greece and Italia.

From there for a further 700 euros each, the refugees could pay to be driven by private cars or mini-buses to northern European countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

As the flow of refugees grew in past months, the price doubled to 1,500 euros each, the Dutch prosecution service said in a statement.

The 35-year-old main suspect, who was staying with a cousin in Eindhoven, had a huge contact list of thousands people, and "organized shipments and arranged cars and drivers to transport refugees," prosecutors said.

Safe-houses were found in Milan, Athens, Vienna and Budapest where the migrants could stay as they waited to move deeper into the continent.

The refugees had to pay for most of their passage in advance in cash, which was then transferred by an underground banker to the Netherlands. The rest was given to their driver once they reached Europe.

The 26-year-old nephew of the main suspect was in charge among other things of recruiting refugees in Hungary and Austria.

Both were arrested last Friday, and police also seized a trove of computers and mobile phones, as well as identity papers.

The main suspect was also in regular contact with a third man, aged 27, who was arrested in Budapest earlier this month.

Indian army kills five near Pakistan border in held Kashmir
[DAWN] Indian soldiers rubbed out five suspected rebels Friday near the heavily militarised border in Kashmire as they tried to "sneak in from the Pak side of the divided territory," an Indian army front man said.

The group of gunnies were intercepted by Indian soldiers when they crossed the Line of Control (LoC) early morning in Gurez, about 130 kilometres (80 miles) north of the main city of Srinagar.

"Five turbans were eliminated by the army while they were trying to infiltrate across the LoC in Gurez Sector," Colonel N. N. Joshi said.

"Soldiers... effectively foiled the infiltration bid," he said.

India regularly accuses Pakistain of arming and training rebels to infiltrate what it sees as its territory.

Islamabad denies the allegation, saying it only provides diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination.

The South Asian nuclear-armed rivals have exchanged heavy mortar firing across the LoC almost daily for weeks, with two civilians killed Thursday on the Pak side, according to a Pak military statement.

Army captain among 29 killed in TTP-claimed attack on PAF camp in Peshawar
[DAWN] At least 42 people, including 13 terrorists, were killed as the Pakistain Air Force (PAF) camp at Inqalab road in Beautiful Downtown Peshawar
...capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (formerly known as the North-West Frontier Province), administrative and economic hub for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Peshawar is situated near the eastern end of the Khyber Pass, convenient to the Pak-Afghan border. Peshawar has evolved into one of Pakistan's most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities, which means lots of gunfire.
's Badaber area came under attack by Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain (TTP) gunnies early Friday.

Thirteen bad boyz were potted by security forces, Director-General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major-General Asim Bajwa said on Twitter.

Sixteen people offering prayers at a mosque inside the airforce camp were killed by a group of Death Eaters, Bajwa said. Addressing a presser later during the day he said that seven other people were killed in the ablution area of the mosque.

Three PAF technicians were killed in the attack, a PAF spokesperson said, adding that the airmen were deployed at the guardroom when the attack occurred.

Terrorists entered the camp at two points, splitting into sub-groups, Bajwa claimed. The firefight began immediately due to the quick response from security forces, he said.

The attackers were wearing constabulary uniforms.

Pakistain Army's Captain Asfandyar was killed in the attack.

The DG ISPR said 10 soldiers were maimed during an exchange of fire with turbans -- two of whom are officers.

Rescue sources, however, said 22 people have been injured, out of whom 20 have been shifted to CMH Peshawar and two have been taken to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH). An emergency has been declared in both hospitals. Dr Subhani at LRH said one unidentified body had been brought to the hospital.

TTP spokesperson Muhammad Khurasani grabbed credit for the attack in an e-mail sent to journalists.

A search operation for hidden turbans is underway, Bajwa said. Corps Commander Lieutenant-General Hidayatur Rehman conducted aerial surveillance of the base from a helicopter.

Around 15 people were nabbed
Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please!
during the search operation, police said.

The attack was carried out by a group of seven to 10 terrorists, the DG ISPR said earlier, while eyewitnesses claimed they saw around six to seven turbans dressed in black militia uniforms wearing white shoes.

A military official at the base said, "All the turbans were wearing explosives-laden jackets and were armed with hand grenades, mortars, AK-47 rifles."

Nearby residents said kabooms and gunfire could still be heard more than three hours after the attack took place.

When the attack occurred, a heavy contingent of the Quick Reaction Force (QRF) reached the spot. An exchange of fire between the gunnies and security forces took place. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa
... formerly NWFP, still Terrorism Central...
(KP) police have cordoned off the area.

The DG ISPR said turbans had attacked the guard room at the camp early in the morning. The QRF reached the scene and surrounded the attackers, isolating them.

The turbans had been engaged and confined to a small area around the guard room area of the camp.

The Badaber camp used to be an operational airforce base. It is no longer an operational airbase but is still used as a PAF training centre.

The base is on one side of the road, while a residential estate lies on the opposite side.

Israeli Air Force jets bombed targets in the northern Gazoo Strip early Saturday morning following rocket fire at cities in southern Israel.

The IDF said in a statement that Israeli planes struck three targets in the northern Gazoo Strip belonging to Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason,. Local reports identified the locations as near the Gazoo Strip town of Jabaliya.

There were no injuries in the strikes, the al-Watan Voice news site reported.

Earlier, the Israeli Navy reportedly fired on targets in Gazoo, according to Walla news.

The reported strikes came shortly after Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted a rocket fired at the southern city of Ashkelon on Friday night, hours after a similar attack saw a rocket strike open land in a residential area of Sderot.

The interception was the first since last summer's war between Israel and armed Paleostinian groups in the Gazoo Strip last summer.

A Palestinian Salafist group affiliated with the Islamic State took responsibility for the rocket attacks shortly after midnight on Saturday.
Local residents reported hearing loud kabooms in the Ashkelon area shortly before midnight. There were no injuries reported in the attack. The Israel Defense Forces were investigating whether there were any strikes on Israeli soil, Channel 10 television reported.

There were no injuries reported in the Sderot strike, although there was some damage to property, and several people needed treatment for shock.

A Paleostinian Salafist group affiliated with the Islamic State took responsibility for the rocket attacks shortly after midnight on Saturday. The Sheikh Omar Hadid Brigade has claimed a number of rocket attacks against Israel this year in defiance of Gazoo's Hamas rulers.

Israel Police said that a bus was damaged in the Sderot strike, while the Ynet website reported that a home was also damaged. The residents were inside at the time of the strike, Ynet said, adding that several people were treated at the scene for shock. One woman was taken to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon after complaining of chest pains and ringing in her ears, the website reported.

The sirens sounded at around 8:45 p.m. Friday night in southern Israeli communities along the Gazoo border, after Israeli defenses identified two rocket launches from the coastal strip.

Air raid sirens sounded in Sderot and nearby communities, Channel 10 television said. The Home Front Command confirmed the rocket launches and instructed local residents to enter their protected areas.

Residents of Sderot reported, however, that public bomb shelters, which ordinarily open automatically once sirens sound, didn't unlock during Friday night's incident.

#1  Look for Obama to condemn this response to rockets fired on Israel. Possibly he will invite the Palestinians to the WH or start a Twitter war against Israel.

Palestinian, 3 soldiers wounded in East J'lem clashes
[Ynet] Pinpoint festivities and security briefings mark the end of Friday prayers in Jerusalem, following a week riddled with violent incidents and festivities between Paleostinian protesters and police.

One Paleostinian was moderately-seriously maimed by gunfire Friday afternoon while an Israel police soldier was moderately maimed by a Molotov cocktail and another two were lightly maimed during festivities that erupted in East Jerusalem's Jabel Mukaber neighborhood.

Two Paleostinian teens were consequently jugged

in Jabel Mukaber, accused of throwing stones at security forces.

The incident came after the relatively peaceful conclusion of Friday prayers on the Temple Mount that Israeli authorities feared would turn violent. Five thousand coppers were deployed in the area and age restrictions were placed on Moslem worshipers entering the mount.

The turmoil in and around Al-Aqsa mosque in the past week, as well as intelligence indicating that Arab youths intend to disturb the peace, led Jerusalem's chief of police, Maj. Gen. Moshe Edri, to order the reinforcement.

Additional pinpoint festivities broke out in the neighborhood of Abu Tor, where masked youths threw rocks at border policeman earlier in the afternoon, as well as the Kalandiya checkpoint, masked youths and police traded volleys of rocks and riot control measures.

Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason,, for its part, also held its own solidarity rallies throughout the Gazoo Strip, with a huge showing at the central gathering in the town of Khan Younis. Protests in support of the "resistance" broke out in neighboring Jordan as well.
Egypt is flooding the tunnels, so the Gazans might as well enjoy the moment with rallies against the people who aren't doing it.
A can of paint was also thrown at Jerusalem's light rail on Friday, causing damage but no injuries. The police began searching for the perpetrators.

Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan visited the Western Wall Friday after a security briefing with police officials. "Thousands of coppers have been deployed in Jerusalem since the morning hours in order to guarantee the public's safety," the minister said. "The police presence is felt, and we will do all that is within our power in order to maintain the quiet. The police will use all measures necessary against those who disturb the peace," Erdan said.

The Knesset's Security and Foreign Affairs Committee also held a special meeting Friday, and authorized the military to draft reserves border coppers as a solution to the deteriorating security situation in Jerusalem.

The head of the committee, MK Tzachi Hanegbi (Likud) said, "The border coppers have a rich and successful history in dealing with violent enemy actions. The deployment of border police companies to Jerusalem will help quickly restore order."

Police were put on high alert after a series of violent incidents on Thursday.

Abu Sayyaf behind bus bomb that killed 11-year-old girl
[Inquirer] The Abu Sayyaf has been blamed for a bombing that killed one person and injured at least 31 others at a privately owned bus terminal in Zamboanga City on Friday. Col. Nixon Fortes said extortion was the primary motive, and that the group of Abdul Aziz was behind the incident.

A yet-to-be-determined type of explosive went off aboard a bus as it was loading passengers on Friday afternoon.

Fatima Alipara, 11, was confirmed dead after being rushed to the hospital. Supt. Jomarie Albarico said two other injured victims, including a female college student, were in critical condition.

Albarico said, "The bomb went off aboard the bus, most probably at the middle portion. The Abu Sayyaf Group admitted they perpetrated this crime by sending a text message to the Biel family."

He said Abdul Aziz has been demanding P500,000 from the bus company owner. Investigators said they have a strong lead as the suspected bomber was captured clearly by a security camera at the terminal.

Moscow: 2,400 Russian nationals fighting for Isis in Syria and Iraq
Moscow has revealed that it has information of at least 2,400 Russian nationals fighting for the Islamic State (isis) terrorist group in Syria and Iraq.

The First Deputy Director of Federal Security, Sergei Smirnov, said on Friday that of the 3,000 Central Asian nationals, at least 2,400 are Russians. The statement from a senior Russian official comes days after TASS reported that more than 170 Russians have been killed in Syria fighting for Isis.

In 2014, the CIA had claimed that the Islamic State has 30,000 fighters drawn from over 80 countries. The Iraqi officials believe the number to be at least 2 lakh.

The terrorist group, which now control almost 50% of Syria and Iraq, has radical fighters from France, UK, Germany, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Canada and Russia, among other countries, in its ranks.

Russia recently proposed that the United States should include Kremlin and the Assad government to fight the Isis. It is believed that the US is still mulling over the proposal.

Fatah Army launches new attack on Shiite villages as regime air strikes kill 17 in Idlib
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Fatah Army has fired nearly 400 rockets on two besieged Shiite villages in the northwestern province of Idlib and detonated at least nine boom-mobiles, as regime air force steps up air attacks on Idlib, killing 17 people, a monitor said on Friday.

The renewed attacks on the regime-held villages of Fuaa and Kafraya came after devastating air strikes across Syria that killed at least 130 people in the last 24 hours, 17 of them were killed Friday in Idlib, according to the Syrian Network for Human Rights.

Fuaa and Kafraya are among the few remaining outposts of regime control in the province, and are now completely besieged.

The Army of Fatah has begun the attacks against the villages by July, saying it was retaliation for a regime and Hezbollah militia offensive on Zabadani, the last rebel-held bastion along Syria's border with Leb.

Rebels said in previous statement that the attack on Shiite villages would "give you a taste in the north of what our people are tasting in Zabadani."

Hezbollah had stationed commanders in Kafraya and Foa and had trained local military leaders, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Most of Idlib province, including its quiet provincial capital, is now held by Fatah Army, an alliance of Salafist tough guys including al-Qaeda affiliate the Nusra Front, after a sweeping offensive last March.

In next-door Aleppo province, 4 non-combatants were killed on Friday in aerial attacks by the Syrian regime on al-Ansari neighborhood, SNHR said.

In central Syria, regime army jets carried out at least 25 air strikes on the Islamic State

-held city of Palmyra on Friday, killing 10 people, the monitoring groups said.

The Observatory said it was one of the most sustained government bombardments on Palmyra. It came a day after Syrian jets heavily bombed Islamic State's bastion in the north, the city of Raqqa.

Assad barrel bombs kill 100 civilians across Syria
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Barrel kabooms by Syrian regime helicopters killed at least 22 civilians late Thursday in a rebel-held town near southern city of Daraa, a monitoring group said as Thursday's corpse count rises to 99 across Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said regime helicopters "dropped barrel bombs on neighborhoods in Busra al-Sham in Daraa province," killing at least 21 people, including two children and four women.

Earlier the Britannia-based group said 17 had been killed in the strikes, AFP said.

In the northern city of Aleppo, the corpse count of regime aerial campaign in the last 72 hours has reached 60.

Early Thursday, regime air strikes on al-Sha'ar neighborhood killed at least 20 people, activists and monitoring groups said.

Regime's devastating air campaign was extended by Tuesday on rebel-held Aleppo after rebels' mortar fire on government-held neighborhoods in western Aleppo had killed 38 people, including 14 children, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. 10 people in rebel-held neighborhoods reportedly killed on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, regime air strikes on Aleppo killed 30 civilians, according to the Syrian Network for Human Rights.

The monitoring group that tracks war in Syria said at least 20 people, including 3 children and a woman, were killed in barrel kaboom on al-Mashhad neighborhood as well more 7 victims have bit the dust in a missile attack on al-Kallaseh neighborhood.

SNHR also reported death of 3 people in regime shelling on al-Sukari neighborhood of Aleppo Wednesday.

Activists say the Syrian military frequently uses helicopters to drop crude barrel bombs - giant canisters packed with hundreds of pounds of explosives and scrap metal - on rebel-held towns and neighborhoods.

Bashir al-Assad has denied that barrel bombs are used by the military.
