Clashes Between Taliban Fighters Leave 18 Dead
[Tolo News] At least 18 Taliban Death Eaters have been killed so far in the ongoing festivities between the Talibs in western Herat
...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns...
province, the local official said on Wednesday.

In addition, 10 other Death Eaters sustained injuries, said Ehsanullah Hayat, provincial governor's front man.

The festivities started Wednesday in Shindand district when the fighting broke out between the supporters of late Taliban leader Mullah Omar
... a minor Pashtun commander in the war against the Soviets who made good as leader of the Taliban. As ruler of Afghanistan, he took the title Leader of the Faithful. The imposition of Pashtunkhwa on the nation institutionalized ignorance and brutality in a country already notable for its own fair share of ignorance and brutality...
and the followers of Mullah Mansour, who succeeded the group's ex-supreme leader, he added.

"The festivities started early morning in Okal area in Shindand," Hayat said, stating that "The festivities are still going on."

The odds between the Taliban leaders emerged following appointment of Mullah Mansour as the group's new leader -- a decision widely opposed by some members of the group.

Shindand saw a similar incident about two weeks ago that left 15 Taliban Death Eaters dead.

'At least 50 dead' in Shebab attack on AU base: Western sources

soldiers are believed to have been killed and another 50 are missing after Shabaab bandidos holy warriors overran a military camp in southern Somalia on Tuesday, according to Western military officials.

"It is assessed that at least 50 AMISOM troops died," said a briefing note sent to diplomats by Western military officials and seen by AFP. It said that in total around 100 soldiers were "unaccounted for" after the attack.

Somalia's Al-Qaeda affiliate said the attack in Janale district, 80 kilometres (50 miles) southwest of Mogadishu in the Lower Shabelle region, was Dire Revenge for the killing of seven civilians by Ugandan troops at a wedding in the town of Merka in July.

AMISOM has said the camp was manned by soldiers from Uganda.

The number feared dead matches that claimed by a Shabaab front man.

AMISOM has not yet counted the dead. "Given the complex nature of the attack, AMISOM is currently verifying the number of casualties and extent of the damage," said a statement issued late Tuesday, more than 12 hours after the assault.

Western military sources said the attack began with the destruction of two bridges, cutting the camp off. A suicide boom-mobileer rammed the base followed by an estimated 200 Shabaab fighters who overran the camp.

AMSIOM said its troops "undertook a tactical withdrawal" as the attack began.

Witnesses said the Shabaab took over the camp, looting weapons stores and loading corpses onto trucks.

The group has previously gathered the bodies of dead soldiers for use in propaganda videos of its attacks.

"They were collecting dead bodies, I saw nearly 30 soldiers killed during the fighting," said local resident Hussein Idris.

The Shabaab is fighting to overthrow the internationally-backed government in Mogadishu, which is protected by 22,000 AMISOM troops from Burundi, Djibouti, Æthiopia, Kenya and Uganda.

Tuesday's attack on the camp in Janale is one of the deadliest yet against AMISOM troops.

Saudi-led strikes target Houthis at air base in Sanaa
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Saudi-led coalition has targeted the al-Dailami air base and destroyed its arms warehouses on Wednesday north of the Yemeni capital and close to Sanaa's airport.

Eye witnesses said kabooms rocked Sanaa at dawn as smoke billowed, indicating that the arms warehouse seized by Houthi
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. militias had been targeted.

This strike comes after dozens of Houthi militias were killed on Tuesday after a Scud missile went off while it was being launched from the air base.

The coalition has also intensified its raids on Houthi position in the governorate of Marib and used Apache helicopters for surveillance purposes in a bit to resume its campaign of forcing out the militias from the governorate.

Gunman Kills two Yemeni Staff of Red Cross
[ALMANAR.LB] A gunman killed two Yemenis working for the International Committee of the Red Thingy north of the capital Sanaa on Wednesday, a spokeswoman for the humanitarian organization said.

The pair were travelling with two colleagues in two vehicles "clearly" marked with the Red Thingy emblem when they were stopped in Amran province by a gunman who shot up the vehicles, the ICRC's Yemen

spokeswoman Rima Kamal said.

"One of our colleagues passed away on the spot while another sustained critical injuries and was transferred to an MSF (Doctors Without Borders) hospital... where he passed away shortly after," she said.

The other two were unharmed, Kamal added.

The head of the ICRC delegation in Yemen, Antoine Grand, said the victims were a field officer and a driver.

ICRC spokeswoman in Geneva Sitara Jabeen told AFP that "after the incident, the Red Thingy stopped all movements in the country for the time being."

The ICRC said it was not immediately clear who carried out the attack, noting that there had been a number of security incidents involving the organization in recent months.

On August 25, the ICRC said it had suspended its operations in Yemen's second city Aden after gunnies robbed its main office while holding staff at gunpoint.

ISIS claims responsibility for bombings at Yemeni mosque
[CNN] At least 28 people were killed in two suicide kabooms at a mosque in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, the Houthi-controlled state-run Saba news agency said Wednesday.

ISIS grabbed credit on social media for the attacks.

Dozens of people were maimed in the bombings, Yemeni Defense Ministry officials said.

The first attack targeted Al Moayyad mosque, a pro-Houthi
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ...
neighborhood in northern Sanaa and the second bombing took place as civilians were trying to help the victims of the first attack, ministry officials said.

This is the fifth mosque attack over the past two months in Sanaa. The attacks have targeted pro-Houthi mosques.

It's all part of the turmoil and violence that has wracked Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic...
for months, as the Houthis -- a minority group that has long held sway in northern Yemen -- increasingly asserted themselves elsewhere in the country, including taking over Sanaa early this year.
Al Ahram adds:
The krazed killer group, which has claimed similar bombings in the past, said a man named Qusai al-Sanaani blew himself inside the mosque and that a bomb-laden vehicle parked nearby subsequently went kaboom!.

The attack was to "avenge Moslems against the Rafidah (Shia)," said the statement on Twitter.

Witnesses earlier gave AFP a slightly different account, saying the suicide kaboom took place outside the mosque, after which a bomb-laden car driven by another suicide attacker went kaboom!.

But a security official quoted sabanews.net, the website of the Iranian catspaws controlling the capital, confirmed the IS account of the incident.

He also confirmed the corpse count of 28 killed and 75 maimed provided by medics but said it was "not final."

Bangladesh
Five charged with Oyasiqur murder
[Dhaka Tribune] At least eight members of banned myrmidon outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team were involved in the murder of secular activist Oyasiqur Rahman Babu on March 30, the Detective Branch (DB) of police said in the charge sheet submitted yesterday.

DB Inspector Moshiur Rahman, also investigation officer of the case, submitted the charge sheet to the Dhaka's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court showing 40 people as prosecution witnesses.

He named five Ansarullah members in the charge sheet since details about the three others -- Masum alias Masud, Sharif and Abrar -- were not found.

"They will be named in a supplementary charge sheet once we get details or arrest them," the IO mentioned in the charge sheet. It says the killers first planned to kill Oyasiqur in December.

General Recording Officer of the CMM Court Sub-Inspector Altaf Hossain said: "The charge sheet will be produced before the court of Magistrate Mostafizur Rahman on Thursday [today] for next course of action."

The five accused are Zikrullah alias Hasan, Ariful Islam alias Mushfique, Saiful Islam alias Monsur, Akram Hossain Hasib alias Abdullah and Maulana Junayed alias Taher. Of them, Akram and Taher are on the run.

Of the others now in jail, Saiful was locked away

with firearms and machetes in his possession in Jatrabari area on March 23. Police claimed that Saiful along with Zikrullah and Arif were going to kill Oyasiqur on that day.

On the other hand, Zikrullah and Arif were held by some transgender people when they tried to flee after hacking Oyasiqur to death at Begunbari in Tejgaon Industrial Area. Another killer Taher expeditiously departed at a goodly pace.

In primary interrogation, they claimed that a "hujur" (religious scholar) had professed to kill atheists while a "Boro Bhai" (senior brother, Abdullah) gave them Oyasiqur's photographs and the murder weapons.

The charge sheet says that Abdullah, who works as an organiser for the outfit, criminal masterminded the killing, and gave arms and training to the killers for three months.

A travel agency trainer by profession, Oyasiqur was an active campaigner of the ongoing war crimes trials and advocate of secular spirit.

In early May, a group called al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) grabbed credit for the murders of Oyasiqur and other secular activists since 2013. It is alleged that Ansarullah members are representing AQIS in Bangladesh.

The charge sheet says that the accused first planned to kill Oyasiqur after holding a meeting at Arif's house in Mirpur 11 area on December 15 last year. They also sat together at a house of South Kajla in Jatrabari some days before the killing.

Zikrullah is a student of Hathazari Madrasa in Chittagong. Arif had been a student of the same madrasa and later became a student of Mirpur Darul Ulum Madrasa.

Arif was arrested in September 2012 from Raipura of Narsingdi during training at a myrmidon camp.

Bulgarian authorities near the Gyueshevo border checkpoint detained the five men, aged between 20 and 24, late on Wednesday, Bulgarian broadcaster NOVA TV reported.

they were searched and Islamic State propaganda, specific Jihadists prayers and decapitation videos were found on their phones.

In a move that suggests how seriously authorities are taking the case, the Bulgarian State Agency for National Security (DANS) has now taken control of the investigation under the supervision of the regional prosecutor's office in Kyustendil.

The men chose to cross in a wooded area, local media have reported, and took a car from an accomplice who had crossed legally from Macedonia with the vehicle.

the Gyueshevo border checkpoint where the men crossed sits on Bulgaria's western border with Macedonia. It is likely the men chose to enter there to avoid the new strict border controls on the other side of the country.

In February, the Turkish intelligence service warned police in an internal memo that up to 3,000 trained jihadists are seeking to cross into Turkey from Syria and Iraq, who could then travel through Bulgaria and Hungry into western Europe. And in May, a Libyan government adviser warned Islamic State operatives were being "smuggled to Europe in migrant boats."

At the time of the comments, UKIP leader Nigel Farage warned: "When ISIS say they want to flood our continent with half a million Islamic Death Eaters they mean it, and there is nothing in this document [Common European Asylum Policy] that will stop them.

"I fear we face a direct threat to our civilisation if we allow large numbers of people from that war torn region into Europe."

#1  have you noticed that the vast majority of *refugees* are young men in their 20s?

leaving the safe haven country of Turkey?

this is an invasion not a refugee crisis. they just worked out that if you dont bring guns then it wont be a war just a walkover.

shame on those parents taking the toddler and five-year-old from the safe haven of Turkey putting them in harms way on an overloaded vessel. they drowned. dead baby on the beach. this is not an argument for letting people cross borders without papers, it is an argument for deporting and prosecuting the parents for killing their kids for greed. wanted a rich country (germany) instead of a poorer but safe country (turkey).

Soldier, 'suspected militant' killed in Indian-held Kashmir
[DAWN] An Indian soldier and a suspected Kashmiri freedom fighter were killed on Wednesday during a gun-battle in Indian-held Kashmire, the latest clash in the restive Himalayan region, a police officer said.

Acting on a tip-off, the Indian forces confronted at least one Lion of Islam inside a house in the village of Ladoora 70 kilometres northwest of the main city of Srinagar.

"One Lion of Islam was killed and we had a fatal casualty of a soldier in the initial stage of the gunbattle," Gharib Das, deputy inspector general of police for the area, told AFP.

Das said it was unclear if more faceless myrmidons were in the area.

Government forces killed four suspected rebels last Thursday and captured another during a day-long battle in forests in the same area.

Several rebel groups have for decades battled hundreds of thousands of Indian troops deployed in the region, seeking independence for Kashmire or its merger with Pakistain.

31 'suspected militants' killed in North Waziristan, Khyber air blitz
[DAWN] At least 17 suspected bandidos murderous Moslems were killed and their hideouts destroyed when military planes carried out Arclight airstrikes targeting terrorist infrastructure near the Pak-Afghan border in North Wazoo, the military's media wing said on Wednesday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations further said that 14 more suspected bandidos murderous Moslems were killed earlier in the day in Khyber Agency

, taking the total corpse count from Wednesday's air strikes to 31.

The conflict zone of North Waziristan is off-limits to journalists making it difficult to verify the army's claims, including the number and identity of those killed.

Earlier this week, an attempted suicide kaboom on the Political Agent office in Khyber Agency's Jamrud area left four people ─ including two Khasadar Levies men ─ dead and 56 others injured.

Since the beginning of Operation Zarb-e-Azb

in June 2014, bandidos murderous Moslems have fled to other tribal regions, including Khyber and its Tirah Valley and Shawal in North Waziristan, all of which border Afghanistan.

In June this year, on the eve of the operation's first anniversary, the army said it had eliminated 2,763 bully boyz during the year. There has, however, been no explanation as to how this precise figure about krazed killer casualties has been collected because a large number of them are said to have been killed in strikes by Pakistain Air Force jets.

At that time, officials had said another 218 terrorist had been killed in intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in other parts of the country to prevent the feared backlash of Zarb-e-Azb. The IBOs are flaunted by the military as a major success story.

But, this has come at the cost of 347 troops and displacement of over a million people.

fighters have regained territory in the contested city of Baiji, home to Iraq's largest oil refinery, the Pentagon said Wednesday.

Fierce fighting has been taking place for months in and around Baiji, and Iraqi forces and militia fighters had in recent weeks pushed back IS fighters in the northern town.

But much of that progress has been undone, Pentagon front man Captain Jeff Davis told news hounds.

"We had seen some recent progress in recent weeks where the ISF (Iraqi Security Forces) had been able to regain some territory inside the city," he said.

"In the past several days, that's been largely reversed ... the trend has been downward there. A lot of the gains they had made were lost."

Davis said the United States remained committed to helping Iraqi forces.

"Clearly we are concerned about that, but we know that it's an ongoing, dynamic situation there, and we are committed to helping the ISF in being able to hold on to both the city and retake the refinery as well," he said.

Palestinian shot when throwing bomb at patrol
[IsraelTimes] Assailant hospitalized after attack near Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem; sapper defuses device

Paleostinian man was shot as he tried to hurl an improvised bomb at a Border Police patrol in the West Bank south of Jerusalem.

The officers fired at the man, hitting him in his lower body, and he was taken to a hospital.

A sapper arrived on the scene to defuse the bomb.

The incident occurred near Rachel's Tomb, a Jewish pilgrimage site in the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

The attack was the latest in a string of violent incidents in the capital and surrounding area over the past several weeks.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a meeting with the defense minister, the public security minister, the intelligence minister, the head of the Shin Bet security service and other officials to discuss the possibility of easing the rules of engagement against stone throwers.

"The policy is zero tolerance for stone-throwing and zero tolerance for terrorism," Netanyahu said, regarding stoning and Molotov cocktail incidents in Jerusalem as well as along Route 443, a major highway leading to the capital that has recently been the scene of several attacks.

Among the measures to be taken are the deployment of 400 additional officers and two companies of Border Police in Jerusalem. Along Route 443, intelligence and observation measures are to be increased and a plan to install lighting and security cameras along the length of the road is under consideration.

"Since the legal system is finding it difficult to deal with stone-throwing by minors, changing open-fire orders regarding the throwing of stones and Molotov cocktails will be examined, as will be the imposition -- by law -- of minimum sentences for those who throw stones and Molotov cocktails," the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement Wednesday

IDF shoots unarmed Palestinian swimming in from Gaza
[IsraelTimes] Man hit in the leg after ignoring navy's warning shots; motive for attempted infiltration unknown

IDF soldiers on Wednesday shot and injured a Paleostinian man as he tried to swim from the Gazoo Strip into Israeli territory.

A navy patrol boat intercepted the unarmed swimmer as he crossed a security barrier in the sea in the area of Zikim beach, close to the border with Gazoo. Soldiers called on the man to halt and fired shots into the air, shooting him in the leg after he ignored the warnings.

The man was taken to Barzilai Medical Center for treatment. His purpose for trying to cross into Israel was unknown.

In the past, Paleostinians from the Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason,-controlled Gazoo Strip have attempted to cross into Israeli to carry out attacks.

During the 2014 summer war, when the IDF battled Paleostinian forces in the Gazoo Strip, Hamas attempted to launch an attack on Israeli territory by sea.

During one infiltration from the sea on July 8, Hamas frogmen succeeded in reaching the shore and engaging IDF forces in Zikim, which lies a kilometer north of the Gazoo-Israel border. Four Hamas divers were ultimately killed in the attempt. A later leaked video revealed that one of the Hamas commandos had attached a bomb to a tank. It went kaboom! without causing damage.

Last month, four senior Hamas naval commandos who were heading overseas -- apparently to Iran -- for training were kidnapped on a bus traveling from Rafah to Cairo airport. In Gazoo, it is believed that the four were intercepted by Egyptian intelligence operatives.

IDF strikes Gaza after sniper fire hits Israeli homes
[IsraelTimes] No reports of injuries in strike on Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, base after bullets damage houses in Netiv Ha'asara

The IDF struck a Hamas target in the northern Gazoo Strip early Thursday morning in response to sniper fire at an Israeli town a day earlier.

The IDF confirmed that Israeli jets struck a Hamas military base from which the shooting supposedly came.

A Hamas media outlet in Gazoo reported that Israeli helicopters fired two missiles. There were no immediate reports of injuries in the strike.

The stray bullets were apparently fired from a Hamas training camp in the Gazoo Strip, and hit an Israeli home in a kibbutz adjacent to the Paleostinian enclave Wednesday evening, causing damage but no injuries.

One of the bullets shattered the window of a home in the Kibbutz Netiv Ha'asara and hit a television while two children, aged 6 and 9, were watching it.

The other hit a wall in the home just north of the Strip.

Their mother and a baby were also at home at the time. No injuries were reported.

Initial reports indicated the two bullets were stray sniper bullets that originated from a Hamas training camp on the other side of the border, the IDF said.

Thursday's Israeli Arclight airstrike on the Gazoo Strip was the second in the past week, after the IDF retaliated to rocket fire claimed by an Islamic State

Car bomb in coastal stronghold of Syria's Assad kills at least 10: TV
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] At least ten people were killed and dozens maimed when a boom-mobile went kaboom! in the Syrian city of Latakia on Wednesday,Rooters said, in a rare attack in a coastal stronghold of Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Trampler of Homs...
The kaboom was in a main square, state television
... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
said.

Video footage on state and social media showed burning vehicles in an area littered also with the wreckage of cars smashed by the force of the blast. Rescue workers and civilians were seen fighting the fires.

The governor of Latakia, Ibrahim Khader al Salem, told pro-government television channels that Death Eaters sought to strike at the heart of government-held safe areas that had become a refuge for tens of thousands of displaced families in an attempt to sow "destruction and fear".

State media said a white van filled with at least half a ton of explosives was parked near a school and had created a huge crater in the square that lies at a major crossroad inside the port city.

State media said at least two car bombs had been discovered in recent days in the city in foiled attempts to blow up heavily populated areas.

Latakia has so far been largely spared the violence that has ravaged Syria during more than four years of civil war, killing around a quarter of a million people.

Separately, a mortar attack on part of the campus of Damascus University killed at least two students and maimed several, state media said.

In recent months there has been a spike in rebel attacks on government-held neighborhoods in the capital and in Aleppo, killing and wounding dozens of civilians.

The army has also stepped up air strikes on rebel-held towns and villages in northwestern Syria and the suburbs of Damascus that have killed hundreds of civilians in the last two months of intensified fighting on major fronts across the country.

There was no claim of responsibility for the attack in Latakia, which state media said was carried out by "terrorists", a term it uses to describe Death Eaters fighting to topple Assad.

While Latakia has been spared, the surrounding province of the same name - home to Syria's biggest port and a stronghold of Assad's Alawite sect - has been a major battleground in the war.

Sunni Moslem fighters, including al Qaeda's Syrian offshoot the Nusra Front, control many villages in the borderlands north of the Mediterranean port city and other areas dominated by Alawites, who follow an offshoot of Shi'ite Islam.

The army had stepped up its campaign in the province since Death Eaters took the strategically located town of Jisr al Shughour in April, strengthening their position in a mountain range that overlooks Alawite villages and is close to Qardaha, the hometown of the Assad family.

The war has taken on a starkly sectarian character, with the overwhelmingly Sunni Moslem rebels backed by Sunni Gulf Arab powers fighting to overthrow Assad who is backed by Shi'ite Iran.

15 people killed in Assad air strikes on Eastern Ghouta
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Syrian air force extended its deadly raids on rebel-held city of Douma near Damascus, killing 10 civilians, 6 women and 4 children, medics and a monitoring group said on Wednesday.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) said 6 women and 4 children have been killed in regime air strikes on the stricken city of Douma, 10 km (7 miles) northeast the capital.

SNHR also reported killing of 5 people in the next-door suburbs of Saqba and Zebdin.

The air strikes on Eastern Ghouta district have coincided with a wider intensification of the four-year-old civil war estimated to have killed around a quarter of a million people and driven more than 11 million from their homes.

In the Western Ghouta, regime army snipers killed 2 people in Moadamiyet al-Sham town, according to SNHR.

The monitoring group that track war in Syria documented death of 1213 civilians, including 302 children and 289 women, in August, about 300 of them were from Douma.

SNHR said at least 16,744 enforced disappearance cases by regime have been documented in Damascus suburbs since the Syrian revolution erupted in March 2011.

Two weeks ago, government air strikes on east of Damascus had killed 247 people, including 50 children, and maimed 1,000 more people, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

The attacks on the rebel-held Eastern Ghouta region included August 16 air strikes that killed 117 people in a marketplace in Douma.

CIA escalates role in battle against terrorists in Syria
[NZHERALD.CO.NZ] The CIA and US special operations forces have launched a secret campaign to hunt terrorism suspects in Syria as part of a targeted killing programme that is run separately from the broader US military offensive against Isis (Islamic State).

The CIA and the Joint Special Operations Command are both flying armed drones over Syria in a collaboration responsible for several recent strikes against senior Isis operatives, according to US officials.

Among those killed was a British militant believed to be an architect of the group's effort to use social media to incite attacks in the US.

The clandestine programme represents a significant escalation of the CIA's involvement in the war in Syria, enlisting the agency's powerful Counterterrorism Centre.

But while the centre has been given an expanded role in identifying and locating senior Isis figures, US officials said the strikes were carried out exclusively by the special operations command.

They said the programme was aimed at terrorism suspects deemed "high value targets".

"These people are being identified and targeted through a separate effort," said a senior US official, referring to the British militant, Junaid Hussain, and others killed in recent weeks.

ISIS carries out chemical attacks in Iraq, Syria
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Kurdish authorities said on Tuesday they suspected a homemade rocket fired by Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. at their Peshmerga forces in northern Iraq contained chemical substances, accusing the Islamist Lions of Islam of an increasing use of chemical weapons, Rooters reported.

The Kurdistan Region's Security Council (KRSC) said the attack had taken place along the front line north of djinn-infested Mosul
... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn...
on Aug. 31, and one Peshmerga fighter was receiving treatment in hospital.

A "considerable amount" of yellow smoke was produced, it said.

Samples taken from the site of another attack earlier this year tested positive for chlorine, and at least two other incidents are being investigated.

In similar chemical attack in Syria, ISIS on Tuesday has fired at least 15 mustard gas mortars on northern town of Marea, 20 km (12 miles) from the Turkish border, 25 suffocation cases were reported, medics told Zaman al-Wasl.

The medical crew said ISIS toxic gas attack is the second in 10 days on the border town with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
Meanwhile,

Islamic State has now encircled Marea that falls within a "safe zone" Turkey said last month it would set up in northern Syria to help keep ISIS at bay, according to Rooters.

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague has expressed its concern about the alleged use of chemical weapons in the region but has said either Baghdad or the U.N. Security Council would have to make a request if the OPCW were to investigate.

In other words, the Turks have had no problems generating air strikes and artillery against Kurds, but are not lifting a finger against an impending ISIS slaughter in an area the Turks said they would secure.

Looks like the Turks are not only liars, but incompetent as well.
