Imo, progs are best at creating f*ckuppery in extremis. Once underway, any change in the laid-in trajectory will result in an alternative which will be advertised as "worse" or, at best, just as bad as what they have concocted and, therefore, futile to change.

If Obama is their new best friend, who does he consider an enemy? White conservatives, Christians, small business, those who question his policies, Tea Party, cops?

's campaign.
Clinton's standing has been eroded both by her own shaky handling of the e-mail controversy and by the populist energy fueling the challenge of Sen. Bernie Sanders ...The only openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords... (I-Vt.). Her weakened position in the polls has stoked talk about a possible late entry from Vice President Biden, which could dramatically change the dynamic of the race.
As the Democratic National Committee wrapped up its summer meeting here Saturday, members were left with a series of questions not just about Clinton, but also Biden, Sanders and the party as a whole.
What can Clinton do to regain the trust of voters, generate genuine enthusiasm among grass-roots activists and reassure nervous Democrats that she will be a strong nominee atop the party's ticket in November next year?
Will Biden get in the race? Or, as many party leaders privately asserted, is it already too late? DNC members who were on a conference call with the vice president last week came away with significant doubts that he was emotionally ready to run as he and his family still grieve the death of his son, Beau.

If things get really nasty, the gambit would be for Obama to fall (one way or another), blame the Trunks and the Right, and then with Biden already in the WH, rely upon the sympathy vote. If they had used that game plan in 2000 with Clinton the First, Al Gore probably would have been elected.
[WASHINGTONTIMES] A federal judge Friday ordered the IRS ...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies... to turn over the records of any requests from the White House seeking taxpayers' private information from the tax agency, delivering a victory to a group that for two years has been trying to pry the data loose.
It's not clear that there were any such requests -- but Judge Amy Berman Jackson said the IRS cannot just refuse to say so by citing taxpayer confidentiality laws, known as section 6103 of the tax code.
"This court questions whether section 6103 should or would shield records that indicate confidential taxpayer information was misused, or that government officials made an improper attempt to access that information," the judge wrote in denying the IRS's request to close out the case.
The ruling marks yet another federal judge who has ordered the B.O. regime to be more transparent when responding to open-records records. The State Department is facing a barrage of orders from federal judges demanding more cooperation in releasing former Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton ... sometimes described as America's Blond Eminence and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Edward Stettinius, Jr. ... 's emails.
White House officials and federal agencies are allowed, under very select circumstances, to ask the IRS for protected information. But the requests must be carefully cleared.

"Four debates and only four debates -- we are told, not asked -- before voters in our earliest states make their decision," the presidential candidate said at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Summer Meeting on Friday.
"This sort of rigged process has never been attempted before," he added. "One debate in Iowa. That's it. One debate in New Hampshire. That's all we can afford."
After O'Malley's speech wrapped up, observers noted palpable tension as he greeted DNC Chair, Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz ...Congresswoman from Florida, the abrasive chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. She has been a politician since 1992, and prior to that was in training as a political science major. Her primary accomplishment seems to be that she's Jewish... .

[FOXNEWS] The Environmental Protection Agency says it is going forward with a new federal rule to protect small streams, tributaries and wetlands, despite a court ruling that blocked the measure in 13 central and Western states.
The EPA says the rule, which took effect Friday in more than three dozen states, will safeguard drinking water for millions of Americans.
Opponents pledged to continue to fight the rule, emboldened by a federal court decision Thursday that blocked it from Alaska to Arkansas.
"We see this (rule) as very hurtful to farmers and ranchers and we're going to do everything to stop it politically," said Don Parrish of the American Farm Bureau Federation, one of several farm and business groups that have filed suit against the regulation.
Lawsuits to block the regulation are pending across the country, and the Republican-controlled Congress has moved to thwart it. The House has ignored a White House veto threat and passed a bill to block it, and a Senate committee has passed a measure that would force the EPA to withdraw and rewrite it.

Unless someone is willing to propose hard jail time for Government Agency managers, who are, I believe, protected from same, this kind of behavior is to be expected. Defiance of Contempt is how Obama and company are playing it.
Answering lawlessness with lawlessness is ugly, but an interesting test to be addressed at higher and, hopefully, constitutionally-oriented courts.
