[Khaama (Afghanistan)] An Indian was enjugged
Book 'im, Mahmoud!
for life after gang-raping his 9-year-old daughter with a friend by forcing her to have alcohol before attacking her.

According to the local media reports, the father of the minor girl was tried along with his friend in a court in Delhi, the capital city of India.

The man was tossed in the calaboose
Please don't kill me!
in May 2012 after the mother of the girl lodged a complaint against her husband and his friend.

Judge Gautam Manan quoted in a report by The Press Trust of India said "Children are entitled to expect the best from their parents, in terms of care and parental love, that they can possibly receive."

Manan further added "But the convict gave her daughter such a betrayal of faith of relationship that would really be difficult for her to forget."

He said despite being the father of the minor girl, the accused not only sexually assaulted her but also allowed another boy to sexually abuse hi daughter.

The identity of the man has not been disclosed however the other perpetrator was identified as 20-year-old Akash who was sentenced to 12 years in jail.

The court also fined the two men Rs 5,000 each and ordered to pay the victim Rs 100,000 in compensation.

"The concept of welfare and well-being of children is basic for any civilized society and this has a direct bearing on the state of health and well-being of the entire community, its growth and development," the court said.

The sentence was awarded for the perpetrators after a testimony of the victim was presented to the court along with her medical report which proved she was raped.

Virginia reporter, photographer killed on live TV
[USATODAY] A manhunt was underway in Virginia after two members of a local TV station's news team were fatally shot Wednesday during a live TV broadcast near Roanoke, Va., WDBJ7-TV said.

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe told WTOP radio the suspect was a "disgruntled" WDBJ employee and that authorities expect to have him in jug soon.

The station said the shooting took place at about 6:45 a.m., at Smith Mountain Lake, a resort about 35 miles from Roanoke. Killed were WDBJ7 cameraman Adam Ward, 27, and news hound Alison Parker, 24. A woman being interviewed on live TV was maimed.

The live broadcast at the time of the shooting showed Parker interviewing someone at a resort when, just off camera, shots rang out and Parker was heard screaming. The recording appears to include a glimpse of the gunman dressed in black.
The nutter subsequently killed himself, according to The Daily Mail:
Revenge race murder: Bitter black news hound who bumped off white ex-colleagues live on air and posted the video online blames Charleston shootings and anti-gay harassment in manifesto

o Vester Lee Flanagan II, 41, killed news hound Alison Parker, 24, and 27-year-old cameraman Adam Ward on live TV

o Pair were filming for WDBJ at 6.45am in Moneta, Virginia, alongside local Vicki Gardner when shooting happened

o Gardner was taken to hospital for surgery after being hit in the back while Parker and Ward died at the scene

o Flanagan then used Twitter to post a video of the attacks alongside a rambling explanation while police hunted him

o Also sent 23-page suicide note to news station saying he was motivated by the Charleston church killings

o Said he bought handgun two days after killings, and added that his bullets 'have the victim's names written on them'

o Flanagan had worked for WDBJ but two years ago was fired and escorted from the station's building after spats with coworkers

o Flanagan's car was eventually found by deputies after he shot himself, and later died from his injuries at 1.30pm

#1  I fished and hunted in that area as a kid. Its all built up now, but Smtih Mountain Lake and the Blue Ridge are not filled with that sort of people (angry nutters). The only way you might get shot at in Franklin County is if you get too close to a still. Even then the first shot is usually your signal to turn around and go the other way, and nothing else will happen.

#2  Demand accounting from the Black Community and Gay Community for this hate crime - he killed them for their race (white) and gender (Female) and orientation (straight male).

After all if you reverse the roles and races, thats what the press would be doing.

#3  this was a race hate killing. the shooter openly said he bought his gun 2 days after the white guy shot up black people in a church.

he said he was doing it as part of the race war

so that he was gay, is irrelevant
that he was a disgruntled ex employee is irrelevant

he said it was because he wanted to kill white people

why is that being played down??

Arrest made in shooting that prompted New Mexico 911 dispatcher to resign
[REUTERS] Police in New Mexico have incarcerated
Into the paddy wagon wit' yez!
the 18-year-old son of a state politician in connection with a drive-by shooting that made headlines after it was revealed that an emergency services dispatcher had hung up on a teenage girl who was trying to assist the victim.

Seventeen-year-old Jaydon Chavez-Silver died in the June shooting in Albuquerque and the 911 dispatcher, Matthew Sanchez, resigned late last month. On Saturday, Albuquerque police said they had arrested the suspected shooter in the case, Donovan Maez of Albuquerque, late Friday night.

Stephanie Maez, a Democrat from Albuquerque, confirmed Saturday that her son had been arrested.

"Donovan is my son and I love him very very much," Maez said in a statement. "My heart is aching today and I am waiting to see how this difficult situation develops. As we go forward, the love of my family and my faith in God will see us through."

The incident sparked controversy last month after the Albuquerque Fire Department released a tape of a 911 emergency call in which Sanchez is heard to tell a female caller to "deal with it herself" as she seeks help for a shooting victim.

The caller had told Sanchez she was doing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the male. Sanchez twice asked if the teenager was breathing, according to a recording of the call released to the media.

"He's barely breathing. How many times do I have to fucking tell you?" the caller said.

"OK, you know what ma'am? You could deal with it yourself. I'm not gonna deal with this, OK?," he said, before hanging up on her.

Esperanza Quintero, 17, told Albuquerque television station KOAT that she was the 911 caller.

"Being on the phone and getting hung up on, that just made me more upset," she told the station.

Time for black or homosexual 007, says Pierce Brosnan
Why? Because they've made too much money from the franchise and now they want to be ever so trendy and "edgy?" Why not a Latino? Or a Sioux or an Esquimeau?

Why not a woman Bond? Then she can bed every halfway passable man she sees? That's what the male Bond does (in reverse).

Why not a geriatric Commander Bond? He's a WWII veteran in the books, isn't he? Sean Connery could show the youngsters like Brosnan how it's done, if he's not dead yet.

The boss doesn't look to keen on the idea.

#4  Yes, that's what the public is clamoring for. After all they do make movies to entertain the masses and make money doing so.

Oh wait no. These are upper crust SJWs. They make movies to push their beliefs on the masses, and win awards, and act surprised when they are box office flops and lose lots of money (c.f. nearly any Iraq war movie made).

Why dont you ante up the money Mr Brosnan? And act as the first gay bond, for free, since you believe political and social things matter more than a good story with a well know character.

North Korea floods kill 40, strands thousands
[ARABNEWS] Heavy rain in North Korea killed 40 people, stranded thousands in flash floods and caused "massive" damage on the weekend, the International Federation of the Red Thingy said and North Korean media said.

More than 11,000 people were forced from their homes or otherwise affected by the floods, which hit the northeastern city of Rajin, near the border with Russia and China, on Saturday and Sunday, Hler Gudjonsson, a front man for the Red Thingy in Beijing told Rooters.

Rajin is the capital of the Rason Special Economic Zone in North Hamgyong Province.

"It rained really hard, and fast. On Saturday morning the city was flooded. Cars were wading through water like boats," a source who was in area when it flooded told Rooters.

It was not clear what impact the rain would have in a country that said in June it was suffering from its worst drought in a century. South Korea said in July some rain had fallen in the North, easing conditions.

North Korean state media said there had been 40 "casualties" and "massive" damage after 250 mm (9.5 inches) of rain fell over the weekend. About 155mm (6 inches) fell in just three hours on Saturday, it said.

Following the downpour, authorities in neighbouring China worked with North Korean border officials to evacuate 484 Chinese tourists, according to a Chinese news website, stranded when part of the sole road to the border was washed away. Many of the tourists had been at a trade fair in Rajin. Chinese authorities sent dump trucks, forklifts and other heavy equipment to Rajin to help with relief efforts, the news website said, adding that all of the tourists were safe. Calls to government offices in the neighboring Chinese city of Hunchun went unanswered.

The heavy weather was associated with a system surrounding Typhoon Goni, which struck the Philippines on Saturday, killing four people.

Baghlan Man Beheads His Wife
[Tolo News] A man in northern Baghlan province reportedly beheaded his wife after a court failed to grant her a divorce.

The woman, Trina, apparently married her husband nearly a year ago but was so unhappy she filed for a divorce a few months back.

According to Trina's sister: "Trina got married nearly a year back and she was not happy with her marriage and she wanted to break up. She went to the court to divorce but she returned home after a month."

Oranoos Atifi, the head of the Women Affairs Department of Baghlan said that Trina was initially handed over to her family at her request.

"Two months ago the Baghlan court sent Trina to the Women's Affairs Department and after spending a month [deliberating] the court issued a document that if she wanted, she could be handed over to her family. The Women's Affairs handed over her to her brother," Atifi said.

However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried...
no divorce was granted. Instead, tribal elders got involved and ordered the couple to spend a few days together in a room they had built for them.

"Recently the tribal elders held a meeting and to solve the issues between Trina and her husband. They built a room in a house for them which they had to spend a few days. But after a few days my brother received a phone call. [The husband] told him that we should go there as he had killed our sister. When we got there we saw that she was beheaded," said the sister.

Trina's sister has called on government to ensure justice is carried out. "Trina's husband killed her very brutally - no one even kills an animal like this," one of Trina's male relatives said.

Meanwhile,
...back at the revival hall, the congregants were being herded into the paddy wagon...
Baghlan police officials said that they have opened a case of murder.

"We have completed our investigations and the police is trying to arrest the murderer of this women. The will and soon they will introduce him to the judicial institutions," Baghlan Police Chief, Gen. Abdul Jabar Purdely said.

The attorney general's department in Baghlan has also urged police to act seriously and arrest Trina's murderer.

South Sudan Leader Signs Peace Deal Amid Sanctions Threat
[NYTIMES] South Sudan President Salva Kiir has signed a peace deal with rebels, after 20 months since the start of fighting between loyalist forces and rebels led by his former deputy.

Kiir signed the agreement in Juba, the South Sudan capital, in a ceremony witnessed by regional leaders on Wednesday. Kiir's opponent, former Deputy President Riek Machar, signed the agreement last week in Æthiopia but Kiir asked for more time to consult supporters.

Kiir has been under intense international pressure to sign the agreement mediated by a group of neighboring states, with the U.S. threatening new U.N. sanctions if he failed to do so.

The agreement binds Kiir into a power-sharing arrangement with Machar, whose dismissal in July 2013 sparked a political crisis that later boiled over into a violent rebellion.

#1  South Sudan is an absurdity. Expecting the Nuer of the east and the Dinka of the west to co-exist as the state is now structured will never happen. There needs to be a division, perhaps based on the Belgium example; or Canada. Or perhaps a lesson can be learned from the Czechs and the Slovaks -- don't force two historic antagonistic ethnicities to get along.

Bangladesh
Body formed to evict illegal religious structures on riverbanks
[Dhaka Tribune] The government has formed a body tasked with recommending relocation or eviction of 30 establishments of religious and religion-based institutions on banks of the rivers in and around Dhaka city.

The 17-member committee is headed by the Shipping Ministry's Additional Secretary Nasir Arif Mahmud.

Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan yesterday held a meeting with the leaders of the religious communities and authorities concerned.

"According to a primary survey, 30 establishments have been illegally built on the banks of different rivers in Dhaka which include 20 mosques, eight madrassas and other religion-based education centres and two temples," the minister told news hounds after the meeting.

"Of these structures, some were built from a genuine sense of responsibility towards people's religious sentiments, but the others were put up to sever individual vested interests.

"The committee has been asked to verify the rationale behind building each of these establishments. Based on the committee's report, the authorities will relocate some of these structures and evict others.

"The committee has been given a month to submit its report to the ministry," the minister said.

The Dhaka Tribune has learned that the ministry has representation from the Water Resources, Land, Public Works and Religious Affairs Ministries; the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA); marine police, the Hindu Religious Welfare Trust; and the Islamic Foundation.

Swechchhasebak League leader dies in police custody
[Dhaka Tribune] A Swechchhasebak League leader has died in police custody, with his family claiming that he had been killed over political rivalry.
He probably strangled while trying to pronounce that.
Forty-five-year-old Farhad Hossain, the organising secretary of Swechchhasebak League Dhaka City North unit, allegedly fell ill at the Dhaka Central Jail during the early hours of yesterday and was declared dead after being rushed to the DMCH around 6am.

Earlier on August 18, Farhad was incarcerated
Book 'im, Mahmoud!
by the police during a raid to arrest suspects of the August 13 shooting at Dhaka's Badda, which killed four people including three local ruling party activists.

Badda cop shoppe Officer-in-Charge MA Jalil said: "134 bottles of Phensedyl and 62 Yaba tablets were recovered from his [Farhad's] office at the time of the arrest."

Although the raid had been carried out to capture suspects of the Badda shooting, Farhad was sent to jail in a narcotics case, the OC added.

The exact cause of death could not be known as Farhad's body was handed over to his family without any autopsy, after his relatives secured the proper clearance from authorities concerned.

Europe
Russia Accidentally Reveals Its Massive Ukraine Body Count
[Daily Caller] Though Russia denies official involvement in Ukraine's civil war, a Russian news site briefly reported Russia's huge military casualties in Ukraine Tuesday.

Buried in a mundane report on army salaries, Delovaya Zhizn (Business Life) noted that family compensation went to the families of 2,000 soldiers killed "taking part in military action in Ukraine." The information was briefly online before Russian censors detected the fact and took it offline -- but not before a Ukraine-based news site detected the admission and cached it online.

That some 2,000 Russian service members have died, all fighting a war that the Kremlin does not acknowledge exists, is a staggering admission of President Vladimir Putin's commitment to the conflict in eastern Ukraine. The Ukrainian war has lasted for exactly 18 months -- by comparison, the U.S.' nearly 14-year involvement in Afghanistan has claimed the lives of 2,154 American soldiers.

Besides the toll on Ukrainian and Russian fighters' lives, the Russian intervention has also inflamed sanctions against Russia from European and North American governments. In response, Russia has embargoed food imports from a long list of Western countries, prompting a grocery crisis for Russian shoppers.

#1  To be fair, the US body could be higher in a high intensity conflict with artillery and such.

But still.... that is a lot of bodies for such a limited involvement. Maybe those Ukrainians are quite the crack shot with their artillery? Or are Russian soldiers just that poorly equipped and trained? Or all of the above?

#2  I read a deal about how both sides are using drones for artillary spotting,
and say if said drone can find location (GPS), altitude, and wind direction (what else would be handy, barometric pressure?), and you know your artillary's stuff, then you have nearly real time shooting.

The article went on to explain it was giving both sides fits, making it difficult to move, mass, fortify positions.
Posted by: swksvolFF || 08/27/2015 15:48 Comments || Top||

#3  The Russians are just going to say that all of those soldiers volunteered with the army's premission to fight for the rebels in the Donbass, and they are being compensated for their service. Understand that nearly all the officers and most of the cadre are Russian or Russian prior service, so it isn't surprising.

Wake me when the Russians finally admit elements of the Russian 5th Tank Brigade participated in the shutting of the lid at Debaltsevo last February.

Tsipras softens stand on Greek debt relief before election
[REUTERS] Outgoing Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras signaled on Wednesday he would accept an easing of Greece's huge debt burden if he wins elections expected next month without any of the write-offs he has long demanded.

Tsipras, who hopes to return to power with an absolute majority, told Alpha TV that he favored longer repayment periods and lower interest rates on the debt, now that Greece has secured a new 86 billion euro ($98 billion) bailout.

But in the interview, he made no mention of writing off any debt - a campaign promise when he was elected in January that Germany, the biggest contributor to Greece's three bailouts since 2010, opposes.

With his radical left Syriza party split over the latest bailout, Tsipras heaped praise on his finance minister, Euclid Tsakalotos, and rejected the possibility that his ally may not even run in the election.

President Prokopis Pavlopoulos is expected to call the election on Friday, probably for Sept. 20, an official at the presidency told Rooters. This follows Tsipras's resignation last week when he lost his parliamentary majority due to a rebellion in Syriza ranks over the bailout's demands.

Communal clashes in Indian state of Gujarat kill six
[DAWN] At least six people have died in the worst violence to hit Narendra Modi's home state in more than a decade, police said, as the Indian prime minister appealed for calm.

Fresh communal festivities erupted on Wednesday in western India as police and paramilitary forces tried to quell riots led by members of a farming caste demanding government benefits.

Authorities imposed a curfew in at least five cities in Gujarat
...where rioting seems to be a traditional passtime...
state on Tuesday night after mobs attacked police with stones and sticks and burned vehicles. Cellphone communications were blocked in the state's main city of Ahmadabad to stop both rumors from spreading and gangs from coordinating their movements.

Police said five people had been killed, including a father and son caught in a protesting crowd on their way home from work and then killed when police fired on the crowd on Tuesday night in Ahmadabad.

On Wednesday, two people died from police gunfire in Palanpur, and a third was killed by paramilitary fire in Mehsana, according to police officials who refused to be identified by name because they were not authorised to speak with media.

Isolated festivities between protesters and police occurred in several other cities in Gujarat, including the diamond cutting and polishing hub of Surat.

TV stations reported that police fired tear gas to disperse the crowds in some parts of the state, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi was chief minister for 12 years.

Philippines seeks US help to protect troops in disputed sea
[ARABNEWS] The Philippine defense chief said he asked the visiting US Pacific commander on Wednesday to help protect the transport of Filipino troops and supplies to Philippine-occupied reefs in the disputed South China Sea by deploying American patrol planes to discourage Chinese moves to block the resupply missions.

The Philippines has protested past attempts by Chinese coasties ships to block smaller boats transporting military personnel, food and other supplies to a Filipino military ship outpost at disputed Second Thomas Shoal, which is also claimed and guarded by Chinese coasties ships. The tense standoff at the shoal has lasted two years.

Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin said the commander, Adm. Harry Harris Jr., assured him of US readiness to provide assistance, adding that the US military has flown an aircraft at least once when a Philippine boat delivered supplies last year to Filipino marines marooned on the rusty naval ship that ran aground years ago at the disputed shoal.

AP journalists witnessing a resupply mission last year saw a US military plane hovering above a Filipino supply boat, which a Chinese coasties ship tried but failed to block.

Such US military flights deter Chinese moves, Gazmin said, adding that Philippine resupply boats have been harassed less by Chinese coasties ships after the deployment of the US patrol plane.

"If there are Americans flying around there, we won't be troubled," Gazmin said in an interview. "We need to be helped in our resupply missions. The best way they could assist is through their presence."

Second Thomas Shoal, which is called Ayungin by Filipinos and Ren'ai by Chinese, and the nearby Spratly Islands lie about 190 km from the western Philippine province of Palawan, and about more than 1,000 km from southern China. China's Foreign Ministry says Beijing has "indisputable illusory sovereignty" over the shoal.

#4  by Andrew P. Napolitano • August 27, 2015 - Contra Club

What if former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been pulling the wool over our eyes for years?

What if, while she was secretary of state, she ran two secret wars, one in Libya and one in Syria? What if there already were wars in each of those countries, so she used those wars as covers for her own?

What if President Obama gave permission for her to do this? What if the president lacks the legal authority to authorize anyone to fight secret wars? What if she obtained the consent of a dozen members of Congress from both houses and from both political parties? What if those few members of Congress who approved of her wars lacked the legal authority to authorize them?

What if her goal was to overthrow two dictators, one friendly to the U.S. and one not? What if the instruments of her war did not consist of American military troops, but rather State Department intelligence assets and American-made military-grade heavy weapons?

What if under federal law the secretary of state and the secretary of the Treasury are permitted on their own to issue licenses to American arms dealers to sell arms to the governments of foreign countries? What if Clinton secretly authorized the sale of American-made military-grade weapons to the government of Qatar? What if Qatar is a small Middle Eastern country, the government of which is beholden to and largely controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood?

What if the Muslim Brotherhood is a recognized terrorist organization? What if the U.S. has no lawful or military purpose for putting military hardware into the hands of a government that supports or is controlled by a terrorist organization?

What if the real purpose of sending military hardware to Qatar was for it to end up in the hands of rebels in Syria and Libya? What if it got there? What if some of those rebels are known al-Qaida operatives? What if some of those operatives who received the American military hardware used it to assault Americans and American interests?

What if among those assaulted was the U.S. ambassador to Libya? What if Ambassador Christopher Stevens was assassinated in Benghazi, Libya, by al-Qaida operatives who were using American-made military-grade hardware that Clinton knowingly sent to them?

What if the U.S. had no strategic interest in deposing the government of Libya? What if Congress never declared war on Libya? What if Col. Gadhafi, the then-dictator of Libya who was reprehensible, was nevertheless an American ally whose fights against known terrorist organizations had garnered him praise from President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair?

What if the U.S. had no strategic interest in deposing the dictator of Syria, President Assad? What if Congress never declared war on Syria? What if the government of Syria, though reprehensible, has been fighting a war against groups and militias, some of whom have been designated as terrorist organizations by the secretary of state? What if that secretary of state was Hillary Clinton?

What if Clinton had a political interest in deposing the governments of Libya and Syria? What if her goal in fighting these secret wars was to claim triumph for herself over Middle Eastern despots? What if it is a federal crime to fight a private war against a foreign government? What if it is a federal crime to provide material assistance to terrorist organizations? What if these are crimes no matter who consents or approves?

What if, when asked about this while testifying to the Senate Armed Services Committee, Clinton professed ignorance? What if it is a federal crime for a witness to lie to or mislead Congress?

What if the outcome of Clinton’s war in Libya has been the destruction of the Gadhafi government and ensuing chaos? What if that chaos has brought terror and death to many thousands of innocents in Libya? What if Clinton has failed to achieve any noticeable result with her secret war in Syria?

What if she managed these wars on an email system that was not secured in a government venue? What if she did that to keep her thoughts and actions secret from the president and from the State Department in case she failed to win the wars? What if she used a BlackBerry she bought at Walmart instead of a secure and encrypted government-issued phone?

What if her management of these wars on the private email system exposed national security secrets to anyone who could hack into her server or her router? What if the server or the router had been kept in the bathroom of an apartment of an employee of a computer company in Denver, Colo., and not under lock and key and armed guard in her home in New York as she has represented?

What if Clinton just doesn’t care whether she has broken any federal laws, illegally caused the deaths of thousands of innocents, and profoundly jeopardized and misled the American people?

What if the American people do care about all this? What will they do about it?

Nebraska citizens help restore Death Penalty
[Daily Caller] A group of pro death penalty activists say they have obtained more than 150,000 signatures supporting the reinstatement of the death penalty in Nebraska. As a result, the death penalty will likely remain in place until the issue can be put on the ballot for a statewide vote in 2016.

Nebraska's legislature abolished the death penalty in May with a 30-19 vote, overriding the governor's veto. The decision has angered some, though, who claim they have collected 166,692 signatures, much more than the 57,000 necessary to get the issue on a statewide ballot vote.

The process of verifying the signatures could take 40 days. If the signatures are valid, the legislatures repeal will be put on hold until a vote can be taken in November 2016. The repeal was set to go into effect Sunday, but the pro death penalty activists got the signatures in just in time.

Even if the death penalty is upheld, however, the state has no way of executing the 10 men on death row. Because of various laws and international boycotts, Nebraska has been unable to obtain the drugs necessary to execute the death row inmates.

The secret to Indians' success in America
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The secret to their success lies entirely in education. Poverty and the weak capabilities of the Indian government has not prevented the provision of quality education. This is why most of them attained the right to emigrate to a country such as the United States. They are considered before immigrants from other countries because they specialize in fields required by the job market.

Therefore, they are granted residency, given jobs, and later attain American citizenship. Some Indians there are now high-profile politicians as well. Two U.S. states are governed by men of Indian descent, and a candidate of Indian descent is running for the Senate post in California next year. More than 40,000 Indian immigrants work as doctors, as is the case in other vital fields.

The moral is that he who wants to overcome his circumstances and difficult times must pay full attention to education, and I mean quality education. Education is the only medical prescription we can agree on when it comes to social and economic solutions. Although all countries provide free public education, only a few of them provide quality education that produces people capable of developing their society.

#7  Had a couple Indian gentlemen in some of my engineering classes. Their folks, from afar, used to 'ride' the heck out of them to study and succeed. In those days, it was by phone and letters (sometimes daily for one of the guys).

Needless to say, they both succeeded, and very well.

Success still has a lot to do with the parents being positively involved, no matter what the 'modern education professionals' tell us.

#8  Many of the Indian immigrants to the US come from the upper class/caste. They are relatively wealthy, so their parents can afford to send them to good schools to get the education they need to emigrate.

Conversely, many of the Mexican migrants come from poor, uneducated families.

AR-15, Shotgun sales end at Wal*Mart
[GrandViewOutdoors] Walmart has instituted a new corporate policy that bars its stores from selling semi-automatic AR-15-style rifles and semi-automatic shotguns that have a magazine capacity of seven shots or more. The chain denies politics played a role in the decision.
