| Islamic Jihad: Tehran Conference Confronted Marginalizing Palestinian Cause |

Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... resistance movement Ziyad Nakhala stressed that Tehran conference which was concluded on Wednesday confronted the plot aimed at marginalizing the Paleostinian cause. Nakhala added that the participation of the various Paleostinian resistance movements in the conference frustrated the Zionist bets on disintegrating the axis of resistance. He also hailed Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei speech during the opening session of the conference, adding that it stressed Iran’s stable attitude which supports the resistance in Paleostine. |
