But how are we going to sell expensive new computers and SW every 18 months if these pogs are wedded to 1:50,000 paper maps ?

#1  Some good stuff for historians here; e.g., map of Afghan refugee location in Pakistan in 1982. In the nineteen eighties, when cartography was influenced by the human (rather than machine dominated) touch, the CIA was the best.
