| Germany sends suspected jihadi recruiter back to Spain |

| [Al Ahram] Spanish police say Germany has handed over a suspected recruiter for the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. A police statement Thursday said Ayoub Moutchou, a Moroccan, was a key element in communications between the group's members in Iraq, Syria and ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... and sympathizers in Europe, and had begun making contacts aimed at carrying out attacks in Spain. Police said he left Spain following the July 7arrest of a Spanish woman suspected of trying to recruit pre-teen girls and teenagers to send to the group. The Interior Ministry said recently that Moutchou had also expressed his intention of going to Syria and had urged others to go with him. He was tossed in the calaboose Drop the gat, Rocky, or you're a dead 'un! by German police Aug. 4 at a residence for asylum seekers just outside Stuttgart. |

| #2 I don't know about the pre-teens thing but in general I'm in favor of letting them recruit and then arresting the batch at the airport, or the port. I'm also in favor of smear campaigns to destroy the reputations of ISIS and friends but the lower they sink the better they do recruitment wise so I'm not sure they can be smeared. |
