OIC Secretary General Condemns Terrorist Attack in Sinai Peninsula

[SPA.GOV.SA] Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Ameen Madani, expressed his strong condemnation of the terrorist attack perpetrated in the Sinai Peninsula on January 29th , 2015, resulting in many casualties among the Egyptian security and army officers, and many other injuries.

The OIC Secretary General also expressed his deep condolences to the families of the victims and to the Egyptian people and government, along with his best wishes of prompt recovery for the injured.

Also, the Secretary General expressed his full confidence that the Egyptian authorities will successfully track down the perpetrators of this despicable criminal act and bring them to justice.

In addition, the OIC Secretary General reaffirmed the OIC's full support for Egypt's security and stability and for all efforts to combat terrorism, recalling, on the occasion, the OIC's principled and unwavering stand in condemning terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
