Typhoid Mary Ordered To Stay 3 Ft Away From Others
2014-10-31
Kaci Hickox, the Maine nurse who treated Ebola patients and is locked in a standoff with the governor over quarantine rules, has been temporarily ordered by a court to stay at least three feet away from other people and avoid public places.

Hickox, who has tested negative for Ebola and has no symptoms, has maintained that authorities in Maine violated her rights by demanding that she stay at home for 21 days. She took a defiant bike ride on Thursday morning, and Gov. Paul LePage said that she was testing his patience.

Better than nothing, I suppose.

#4  No, silent masonry; you might get splattered by bodily fluids thrown from the lethal force holes, which would be at least as dangerous as the sneeze.

#3  So, as a known possible carrier of Ebola, if she's within sneezing distance, aren't I afraid for my life and able to respond with lethal force?

#2  Caca could have stayed home, shown the example, self examined, kept a log, and wrote her book.

She chose to be a toddler. Hubris could be used as well.

#1  Funny how she gets to decide whether she's at risk of developing ebola or not, and yet our service personnel who were pointlessly sent to west Africa cannot.

These folks should just stay home until they've passed the 21 days. They should be compensated for any lost wages, and should get an aide to run errands and check for ebola symptoms every few hours.
