| Afghan Forces Clash With Militants in Nine Provinces |

| [Tolo News] Across nine provinces, Afghan cops clashed with krazed killers, and according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), in the past 24 hours alone, 42 murderous Moslems been killed and 51 maimed. Officials confirmed the arrests of 10 other fighters, as well as the deaths of eight members of the Afghan National Police (ANP). Insurgent violence has increased in many parts of the country, just as the new national unity government heads into its third month in office and then not long after the withdraw of foreign troops. On Thursday, serious festivities occurred between Afghan forces and murderous Moslems in Badakhshan, Kunduz, Kandahar, Ghazni, Paktia, Ghoar and Faryab provinces. In northern Badakhshan, the Afghan military was forced to abandon an attempt to rescue soldiers that had been captured by anti-government fighters. "Due to the bad climate in Badakhshan province, we stopped the military operation, but we strive to release the captured soldiers from the bully boys," said Lal Muhammad Ahmadzai, front man for the Badakhshan Police Chief. The Interior Ministry maintains that the uptick in krazed killer activity around the country is related to foreign terrorist networks and intelligence services.
