'Bear drags' Florida woman from garage
2014-04-18
[Dhaka Tribune] A Florida woman is recovering after being attacked by a bear, reported the CNN.

The report read: "She was ambled into her open garage and sifted through her garbage cans in search of food, sheriff's deputies said Sunday."

The woman said as many as five bears "of various sizes" were rooting through her trash when she walked into the garage, Seminole County Sheriff's Lt. Pete Brenenstuhl said.

The woman escaped and ran back into her home, where her husband called 911, he said. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Lt. Jeff Hudson said the woman had an "encounter with a black bear" but could not confirm the reports of multiple bears being involved in the incident.

#3  ...appropriate for all those east of the Mississippi. Maybe they'll get the clue Westerners have been living with for generations. I suppose the original 13 states might be grandfathered, but the rest were developed on 'national' land to begin with.

#2  Large concentrations of retirees (The Villages) have forced native animal populations from their historic habitats. The land must be reclaimed by the Gov't and returned to the rightful animal kingdom owners.

#1  They might not confirm multiple bears were involved but multiple bears have been terminated by FWC since "they were coming right for us!" FWC now has a reward out since they believe somebody in the neighborhood was feeding the bears involved. You know that slippery slope "people give me food" to "people are food". Also one should note that about 20 years ago the animal rights loonies got the FWC to ban hunting black bears because they were becoming endangered.
