 on Thursday (April 17th), a security source told AFP. Details remain sketchy about the circumstances of the abduction, which came two days after gunnies seized Jordan's ambassador.

Tunisia's ambassador to Libya, Ridha Boukadi, declined comment.

In other security news, gunnies attacked the headquarters of the Joint Security Room in the city of Ubari, Libya Herald reported on Wednesday. The assailants were reportedly trying to free a detainee at the premises.

One officer was injured in the attack.
