The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information about the Russian invasion as of the evening of Sunday, April 28.
“During the day, 112 military clashes were recorded. In general, the enemy carried out 1 missile and 49 air strikes, carried out 77 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas,” the Gerstaff report says.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian fighters repelled four attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berestovo, Kharkov region, and Stelmakhovka, Lugansk region.
In the Liman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 14 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kopanki and Novosergeevka, Kharkov region; Makeevka, Nevskoye, Serebryanskoye forestry, Lugansk region; Terny Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repulsed 24 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Verkhnekamenskoye, Vyemka, Grigorovka, Ivanovskoye, Klishchievka, Novy, Andreevka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve the tactical situation.
In the Avdeevsky direction, our defenders repelled 40 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novokalinovo, Keramik, Arkhangelskoye, Umanskoye, Sokol, Ocheretino, Kalinovo, Solovevo, Novopokrovskoye, Novoselovka Pervaya and Semenovka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to dislodge our units.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to contain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Vodyanoye, Novomikhailovka, Urozhaynoye in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 11 times to break through the defenses of our troops.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders three times in the Staromayorsky area of the Donetsk region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy does not abandon his intention to oust our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. With the support of aviation, he attacked the positions of our defenders three times in the area of the village of Krynki, Kherson region.
During the day, Defense Forces aviation carried out strikes on three areas where enemy personnel were concentrated. Units of the missile forces destroyed one enemy control point.
Let us remind you that over the previous 24 hours, Ukrainian fighters killed 1,096 Russian troops. As of the morning of April 28, 2024, the total number of personnel losses of Russian troops reached 466,150 soldiers.
