[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces are confronting the Russian Army.
The missile force units destroyed one artillery weapon, three personnel concentration areas, and four enemy UAV control points.
A total of 87 clashes were recorded at the front during the day. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on the evening of April 15.
In total, the enemy launched 15 missile and 18 air strikes, and carried out 29 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Multi-storey and private houses, as well as other infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.
According to the General Staff, the operational situation in the Volyn and Polesie directions is without significant changes. No signs of the formation of offensive groups of the Russian Federation have been identified.
In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.
The Russians carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Ugroedy and Vozdvizhenskoye, Sumy region; Lukyantsy and Volokhovka, Kharkov region. More than 15 settlements were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Leonovka, Kostobobrov, Yanzhulivka in the Chernihiv region; Svesa, Popovka, Sumy region; Udy, Cossack Lopan, Strelechya, Kharkov region.
The Russian Federation did not conduct offensive (assault) operations in the Kupyansk direction. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Kislovka, Peschanoye in the Kharkov region.
In the Liman direction, the Defense Forces repelled four attacks in the area of ​​the village of Terny, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were damaged by artillery and mortar shelling, including Makeevka in the Lugansk region and Terny, Yampolevka, Torskoye, Zarechnoye in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, 27 attacks were repelled in the areas of Belogorovka settlements in the Lugansk region; Verkhnekamenskoe, Spornoe, Novy, Ivanovskoe, Kleshchievka, Andreevka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve the tactical situation. The enemy launched an air strike near the settlement of New York, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Grigorovka, Kalinovka, Chasov Yar in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdeevsky direction, our defenders repelled 12 Russian attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novobakhmutovka, Berdychi, Semenovka, Umanskoye and Pervomaiskoye in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to oust our units from their occupied lines. About 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Novobakhmutovka, Semenovka, Netaylovo in the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the Russians in the areas of the settlements of Krasnogorovka, Novomikhailovka, Pobeda, Vodyanoye and Urozhaynoye in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 26 times to break through the defenses of our troops. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire from the invaders, including Paraskoveevka, Konstantinovka, Ugledar in the Donetsk region.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the invaders attacked the positions of our defenders five times in the Staromayorsky area of ​​the Donetsk region; north of Priyutnoye and southwest of Belogorye, Zaporozhye region. An air strike was carried out near the village of Rabotino, Zaporozhye region. About 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Poltavka, Malinovka, Krasnoye, Belogorye, Shcherbaki in the Zaporozhye region.
In the Kherson direction, the Russian Federation does not abandon its intention to oust our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. Thus, within 24 hours, the Russians made four unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops in the area of ​​​​the village of Krynki, Kherson region. About 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Lvovo, Tyaginka, Ivanovka, Novotyaginka in the Kherson region.
During the day, Defense Forces aviation carried out strikes on two areas where personnel were concentrated and one enemy command post.
