[REGNUM] Security measures have been strengthened near the Basmanny Court in Moscow today. The area is cordoned off by police and the National Guard, fences are installed, and police cars are parked nearby. Presumably, this was done before a meeting on the petition for the arrest of suspects in yesterday’s terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall.

Yesterday, terrorists were detained in the Bryansk region, they tried to escape towards the Russian-Ukrainian border, actively fired back, but the special services took them alive.

In addition to those directly involved in the terrorist attack, seven of their accomplices were also arrested, which FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The detainees were sent to Moscow, now the special services continue to search for others involved in the crime and establish the details of what happened. Meanwhile, videos of the first interviews with terrorists have already appeared on the Internet, where they, trembling and barely finding the words in Russian, tell how they agreed to commit a crime.

THEY WEREN'T ALLOWED TO LEAVE
On the morning of March 23, the wanted car of the terrorists, a white Renault Symbol, was spotted in the Bryansk region and stopped with gunfire near the border with Ukraine. According to the FSB, the militants “had contacts on the Ukrainian side,” but they were unable to escape to their accomplices.

In the car of the attackers, they found weapons, in particular a Makarov pistol, and passports of citizens of Tajikistan. The detainees reported that they received an order to carry out a terrorist attack in a concert hall via Telegram, for which they were promised 500 thousand rubles. They took weapons and ammunition from hiding places indicated by the organizer.

According to them, the goal of those who were behind the crime was the desire to sow panic and horror in our society. There were no specific goals - just the idea of killing as many people as possible, so shooting into the crowd was carried out randomly. For this reason, the nonhumans also set fire to the Crocus.

Nevertheless, the execution of the terrorist attack was clearly well-thought-out, and only the skillful actions of our law enforcement officers did not allow the ghouls to escape capture.

It is also reported that the terrorists themselves were actively involved in organizing the crime: in particular, one of them, Fariddun Shamsutdin, visited Crocus on the eve of the tragedy to see the layout, location of security posts and calculate escape routes.

Investigators are already interrogating the detainees, so we will soon get more details about their lives and who exactly organized the terrorist attack at the hands of the captured villains.

The style of the crime is not similar to the terrorist attacks committed by militants from the Islamic State (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation). Let us remember that this version was actively dispersed by the Western media.

But the Ukrainian special services willingly pay for such murders, explosions and arson to performers in Russia, reaching them through curators on Telegram. Scumbags are promised not only a reward, but also assistance in leaving Russia, as was the case with the murderer of Daria Dugina.

In his material for the news agency Regnum, military correspondent Dmitry Astrakhan points out that this “ suggests that at least they had agreements with the Ukrainian side regarding the exit ” - it was not for nothing that they were so eager to reach the “window” on the border.

I WANTED TO BE A TAXI DRIVER, BUT BECAME A TERRORIST
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that all the detainees, contrary to the fakes that appeared earlier, are not citizens of our country. “ Currently, the migration divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, in cooperation with colleagues from the FSB of Russia, carefully check the grounds and find out the duration of stay of each of the detainees on the territory of the Russian Federation, establish the addresses of actual residence, as well as other significant circumstances,” said official representative of the department Irina Volk.

In the published videos, they speak Russian with difficulty - or pretend to, resorting to the help of a translator. Nevertheless, those detained in the Bryansk region had previously worked in our country, although this, by the way, requires a good knowledge of the Russian language.

One of them, the same Fariddun Shamsutdin, said that he was recruited in one of the Telegram chats. In the video, he says with darting eyes that he had previously listened to a preacher on a social network, and then his supposed assistant wrote to him, promising money for a terrorist attack. “Kill people, no matter who,” the detainee explains his goal.

Another captured militant, who is called the leader of the terrorists, said during interrogation that he planned to start working as a taxi driver. According to him, on Telegram about 10-12 days ago he met a certain Abdullo, who bought a car from his relatives so that they could start driving taxis. The would-be taxi driver, however, did not disclose the details of the attack on Crocus on camera.

A terrorist named Rajab Alizadeh at first did not want to answer questions from law enforcement officers, citing the fact that he did not understand Russian well, but later he was able to give his name and age - he was 30 years old. He says that he and his accomplices managed to get rid of the weapons before they were caught.

The fourth militant was shown on video from the hospital - resisting arrest did not benefit his health. He also has problems with the Russian language, so he had to hire a translator. Users of social networks have already identified him as 19-year-old Muhammad Fayzov, a former hairdresser at a barbershop in the city of Teykovo, Ivanovo region.

HUNT FOR ACCOMPLICES
Who drew up the attack plan, who delivered the weapons and from where, financed the criminals, who exactly provided the vehicle, what kind of relatives Abdullo has - these details are now being sorted out by the investigation. Of course, during interrogations, terrorists will tell law enforcement much more than what we saw in the footage.

But it’s already clear: there was money, weapons were provided, the plan for the terrorist attack was prescribed. Otherwise, these people, who speak Russian with difficulty and are clearly not the most intelligent people, would hardly have coped with such a task. At the very least, you can’t buy weapons around the corner, and even before the crime, the militants had been living in the expensive Okruzhnoy apart-hotel since the beginning of March, which is uncharacteristic for ordinary migrant workers.

After the necessary measures, the investigation will become clear who exactly connected these people, what motives guided those who carried out one of the bloodiest terrorist attacks in the history of our country. Probably, law enforcement officers of other states can also help with this. The Kremlin has already noted that special services and relevant departments of Russia and Tajikistan are working closely in the field of countering terrorism.

Now the police are conducting raids, control at the capital's airports has been strengthened, and cars are being searched. It is possible that in the future there will be news about new detained accomplices of the bandits.

#2  Possibly the disrupted attack on the synagogue was meant to be part of it, Gletle Crique8919, but I see no hint that this was meant to go much beyond the attack on the concert. Though to be fair, they clearly meant to kill many more than they did. I’d say this was just another “terrify them with terror” attack, a reminder that they are in the process of being conquered.
