New Henry lever action: This will drive the ‘scary black rifle’ crowd nuts
2024-01-23
[TFB] In a remarkable expansion of their product line, Henry, the famous firearms manufacturer, has unveiled a path-breaking offering, the Lever Action Supreme, an innovative lever-action rifle that is compatible with AR-pattern magazines. Representing a whole new design concept, with eight patents pending, the Lever Action Supreme merges both classic and contemporary firearm technology.

At the heart of the Lever Action Supreme’s capabilities are technical features including a rotating bolt action mechanism, an adjustable and match-grade trigger, and a barrel that is free-floated and threaded at the end for the attachment of a muzzle device.

Remarkably, it discards the external hammer, a significant departure from traditional lever-action rifles. The firearm also sports an ambidextrous magazine release, facilitating operational ease for both left and right-handed users. As of now, the Lever Action Supreme is available in .223/5.56 or .300 Blackout variants.

Weighing in at around 6 lb 8 oz, the Lever Action Supreme is a versatile tool, poised to cater to a variety of shooting requirements. "Henry is reinventing the lever action," announces Henry Repeating Arms’ Chief R&D Engineer, Geoff Ader, indicating the company’s resolve to blend tradition and innovation.

Henry Lever Action Supreme has an estimated MSRP of around $1,200. The rifle is set to commence shipping to retailers in the next quarter. It remains to be seen how well it will be received by the market.
