| #11 Then Israel joins NATO. Why would they do that? It’s not like the NATO countries as a group would ever unanimously agree to defend Israel, nor does Israel have the numbers and transportation ability to travel to Europe to defend it against invasion. Even at the UN Israel was only grudgingly permitted to join the Western Europe group in 2014, after being repeatedly rejected by all the regional groups for the first half century of its membership in the UN. |
